Sunflowers galore as I crossed the state of South Dakota. Finding an angle to capture the field was much more difficult with fences blocking me from getting in close.
My question was - is how do they stop the birds from eating all the seeds?

Stopping for a quick lunch before me and Chuck head out on our own adventure today. What shall we do?…Nobody knows but the wind!
Sea voyage in the evening time with the last rays of the sun. This is the best way to organize a family boat trip. At sunset there will be a magnificent dinner, which will definitely be remembered for a long time and will leave the warmest impressions. Delicious dishes of national cuisine cooked on the grill.
Another image from a January '17 trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. To avoid the midday heat, we got up before dawn to hike out of the canyon. Bleary eyed and groggy, this was the first shot I took on the way up.
I've noticed recently that work has been going between more 'naturalistic' style images and a more dreamy, 'painterly' style.
Fundamentally all photography is interpretive, and I've always let myself follow the feeling I get from the image in the way that I edit.
Anyways, I hope it hasn't been too jarring and I hope you enjoy this one!
