Finding one of these during the daytime is rare for me!

This canyon treefrog is napping in a crevice on the underside of a huge boulder in Pima Canyon in the Santa Catalina Mountains just north of Tucson.

Got a new micro lens for my birthday today. Fortunately some interesting subjects were hanging around the house today. :)

Found this beauty in the spout of a watering can. When I filled it, water refused to come out. I gently poked this Great Grey Tree Frog (Hyla versicolour) until she ended up swimming, then tipped her out. Placed her on our fountain where she blended in rather well.

This little tree frog lives in my front window frame...he loves to sleep on the hummingbird feeder pole...we love him and his name is Ramone...view in all sizes!
