A quiet, sun-drenched alley in Andalusia, Spain, where flower pots line the walls in vibrant blues and reds. This charming street, with its cobblestones and whitewashed houses, captures the essence of Mediterranean warmth and timeless tradition.
A handheld long exposure shot to capture the movement of the carousel. Not travelling with the tripod at the moment, as A I travel light and only with a carry on, and B, in the past I have taken it away for months on end and never used it! In front of the Royal Palace, Madrid, Spain.
After a few unsuccessful attempts over the years I have finally made it to Madrid. Loving the architecture here, as in most of Spain.

Took me a while to work out what this bird was... A guy was trying to charge 5 Euros for a photo with this poor bird. Seems to be a pigeon that has been colour dyed somehow and had his back feathers altered/snapped to make it look attractive. Parc de la Cuitadella, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The soul of towns resides in their main squares, and Chinchónās beats vividly among green-painted wood, long balconies, and old lanterns.
This photo captures one of the most iconic faƧades of its Plaza Mayor, with wooden galleries that have preserved the essence of centuries past.
Today, just like in olden times, these balconies serve as privileged balconies to life itself: shared meals, festivities, markets, or simply the passing of time.
The small Christmas detail on the railing reminds us that even in the most historic places, life is still adorned with little touches.
