"...Stay, don't leave me
The stars can't for your sign
Don't signal now
There's nothing I can say
There's nothing we can do now
There's nothing I can say
There's nothing we can do now
Goodnight, travel well"

Happy Travel Thursday, everyone!
“If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness and fears.”

This image didn’t go as planned, for the balloon I thought was a part of the setup was flown by the man sitting on the edge of the balloon and he did avoid the ship, but I was winded down by the balloon. So maybe I should have called the image for:
We were very surprised to find a racoon living in a palm tree. This may not look like a palm because of liana but it is a palm. After showing off like this he went up the canopy and went to sleep.

Even when I travel with my mind, you are with me,
you hold my hand and you smile...
Girl, I think about you every day now
Was a time when I wasn't sure
But you set my mind at ease
There is no doubt you're in my heart now

Wonderful to be here! (...)
To breathe the air, how delicious!
To speak! To walk!

Macro Mondays - Keyhole
Samsonite suitcase lock, measures 3/4". Image measures 2" on the long side. The lock is on top of a lavender container with holographic paper in the background. I used a small flashlight to light the keyhole.
Happy Macro Monday!
Two images from my WordPress post about the Norse history of Scotland.
The Door of St. Magnus in the Orkneys, and the ruins of St. Mary's at Duirinish, an original Viking settlement on Skye.
I certainly had their full attention for a few moments while I snapped off some quick photos before leaving them to explore this section of the forest on their own.

The odds are stacked against our love
I'm always waking up when he is sleeping still
The catalyst
I know I plummet to the depths
With no reasoning, one reason was
The birds singing, I curled in a ball
And thought of you and all you meant
I'll compose myself, I'll get over it
Though I can't tell if this is better
To be left another lesson learned
