A Dinoflagellate... called a "Salpa"... very hard to photograph due to their transparent bodies.

How cool is this? Looks like SonyEricsson's latest phone OS can do transparency. That's an Apple logo in back of a simple text note I have displaying on-screen in standby mode (when the phone isn't doing anything else, but it's still on and connected to the network).

A slide transparency taken by my father in January 1959. In his diary he mentions giving a packet of sandwiches to a beggar on stumps. When I restored the slide I noticed him out of focus just to the right of the boy.
