An old favorite spiffed up a bit. This was one of the first photos I was halfway happy with when I ventured away from 35mm to digital. Unfortunately I had the camera set for low resolution and there isn't much of a file to work with. I don't normally do much alteration to my photos, besides bright/contrast and a little color correction. What you see is what you get for the most part, but I'm fooling around with a few oldies to improve my rather mediocre Photoshop skills.
I've just come in. Three hours to make the drive vaguely navigable.
So, sorely in need of warmer times, I found this, from that fantastic week at Jen and Ursula's gîte. It'll be good to squint into the sun again. Whatever that is.

The last picture is dedicated to my fantastic friends with whom I spent this wonderful holyday.
Lots all love to you and thank you again.
Kathoey or katoey (Thai: กะเทย, IPA: [kaʔtʰɤːj]) is a male-to-female transgender person or an effeminate gay male in Thailand. Related phrases include sao (or phuying) praphet song (Thai: สาวประเภทสอง,"a second kind of woman"), or phet thi sam (Thai: เพศที่สาม, "third sex"). The word kathoey is thought to be of Khmer origin[1] (the equivalent Khmer word is "kteuy").[2] It is most often rendered as ladyboy in English conversation with Thais and this latter expression has become popular across South East Asia except in the Philippines where the term bakla is often used.

The Miami White Party is an annual fundraiser party for HIV/AIDS research. The all-white clothing theme was chosen by co-founder Frank Wager because, as he said, "White stands for purity. White is elegant, non-political, non-combative and makes people look just plain beautiful." The Miami party began as a small fundraising event for the Health Crisis Network in 1985.
