I helped friend Dave pick up a (new to him) track bike. A beautiful Benotto track bike with the heart cut out in the BB.
Designed (and possibly built) by Billy Gunn in 1948 or 49 for local rider Dan Hossack with a higher
than usual bottom bracket to better clearance on the hard track.

Couldn't stand it. Gone. Left some ugly pitting behind, though. Another couple dabs of Bondo and some feathering with fine grit sandpaper and it's like it was never there:)

Track Frame handmade by o. Jaekel and ridden by him at the olympic games back in the 80is---full columbus record tubing, overall very nice condition, fine chrome, very tight geometrie. Size: seattube- 55,5cm/toptube 55,5cm! incl. rino headset!
They use tiny tips to create masterpiece paint jobs in powdercoat. Miles chose his initial as the headbadge.
