Parkour, también conocido como l'art du déplacement (en español: el arte del desplazamiento), es una disciplina que consiste en desplazarse de un punto a otro lo más fluidamente posible, usando principalmente las habilidades del cuerpo humano. Esto significa superar obstáculos que se presenten en tu recorrido, lo cual podrÃa ser cualquier objeto en el ambiente que rodea como vallas, muros, paredes. Esta disciplina puede ser practicada en áreas tanto rurales como urbanas. Los practicantes del parkour son denominados como traceurs (traceuses en el caso de las mujeres).
Esta modalidad deportiva fue fundada por David Belle, quien enfocó al parkour como una práctica de movimientos eficientes para el desarrollo del cuerpo y la mente del traceur para superar obstaculos en una emergencia.

I was asked to lead a photography workshop and walking tour of Detroit for the AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students), as part of their midwest conference this weekend. It was a great experience, and was it was nice to be able to talk a little more about my work and share some of my photography knowledge. One of the students had some sweet parkour skills, which made for some cool shots
L’aile située au Sud de l’abbaye abritait à l’origine la vie matérielle de la communauté. Au Moyen Âge, la salle des moines servait aux tâches ménagères ou domestiques et pouvait faire offi ce de scriptorium. La présence d’une cheminée facilitait le travail. Les moines avaient des spécialités : traceur de lignes, copiste, correcteur, enlumi-neur et relieur... Les couleurs étaient obtenues à partir de pigments naturels : insectes, végétaux, minéraux, certains très onéreux et importés d’Orient, d’autres présents dans les jardins de l’abbaye.Il fallait environ un an à 12 personnes pour recopier une Bible, un moine copiste pouvant recopier durant son existence jusqu’à quarante ouvrages.Le parchemin, support d’écriture, était fabriqué à partir des peaux de moutons, chèvres, agneaux, veaux morts nés (vélin) élevés sur le bocage voisin. Noirlac n’était probablement pas un grand centre de production de manuscrits.

Il Parkour è l'arte di sapersi spostare.
Il principale obiettivo di questa disciplina è quello di raggiungere la padronanza del corpo e della mente per superare gli ostacoli che ci circondano tracciando un percorso che vada da un punto A ad un punto B nella maniera più fluida possibile.
I praticanti del parkour, chiamati "traceurs" ovvero "creatori di percorsi", aspirano a superare in modo creativo, fluido, atletico ed esteticamente valido le barriere naturali o artificiali che si trovano sulla loro strada. Per riuscirci utilizzano corse, salti, volteggi, cadute e arrampicate.

Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK) or l'art du déplacement (English: the art of moving) is a physical discipline of French origin in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, as if moving in an emergency situation, using skills such as jumping and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves. The obstacles can be anything in one's environment, but parkour is often seen practiced in urban areas because of many suitable public structures that are accessible to most people, such as buildings and rails.
Parkour practitioners are often called traceurs, or traceuses for females.
Placé au sud de Lançon en Provence, j'intercepte un orage qui finira en nocturne sur le département des Bouches du Rhône !
La cellule aura lâché pas mal d'impacts , et un ultime avant de crever sur l’étang de Berre, l’ambiance était vraiment titanesque, a l’apparition de la foudre ( un positif, bifide à sa base ! et je suspecte en zoomant l'image un traceur collé à la partie gauche de la base) le claquement était instantanée, mes tympans étaient sous le choc, le corps tout entier n'est pas en reste car je subirai des picotements assez particuliers liés aux éclairs assez proches, ici j'estime qu'il a tapé à 500 m de ma position.
C'est Nantes, un vendredi après-midi, au temps incertain d'un mois de juillet.
Mais du coup je joue avec les reflets d'eau des précédentes pluies. Le ciel quand à lui joue avec les nuages et offre un graphisme sur l'île de Nantes beau et éphémère à la fois.
Bref c'était un après-midi sur Nantes.

L’activité électrique de cet orage se révélera au fil des minutes, de plus en plus marqué et esthétique. Ce bel impact ramifié frappe ici les coteaux de Coursac en Dordogne le 21 juillet 2010.
La fin de l'été ou le début de l'automne, est le meilleur moment pour entreposer le foin pour l'hiver pour être en mesure de créer un produit de qualité à bon prix. Les fermier ont constaté qu'il était plus facile pour leurs animaux de se nourrir avec ce foin l'hiver à cause de la difficulté à trouver de la nourriture fraîche et sèche sous la neige. Après avoir coupé le foin il faut le sécher, et le ratisser dans un tas linéaire. Ensuite il faut faire des bottes de foins avec une machine qui va les empiler sur une remorque tirée par un tracteur. Pour enfin pouvoir entreposer le tout comme le montre la photo ci dessus.
Late in the summer, or early fall, is the best time to stock hay for the winter to be able to create the highest quality, at the most attractive price. Farmers noticed that growing fields produced more fodder in the spring than the animals could consume, and that cutting the grass in the summer, allowing it to dry and storing it for the winter provided their domesticated animals with better quality nutrition than simply allowing them to dig through snow in the winter to find dried grass. After hay was cut and had dried, it was raked or rowed up by raking it into a linear heap. Once the dried hay was rowed up, pitch forks were used to pile it loose onto a tractor-drawn trailer.

Free running is a physical art, in which participants (traceurs) attempt to pass all obstacles in their path in a smooth and fluid way. Free runners interact with their environment using movements such as vaulting, jumping, somersaults and other acrobatic movements, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving. Le spectacle continue plus tard avec l'observation d'un split sur la route et d'un début de matinée sous un ciel chaotique. Les photographies suivront prochainement!
