The Seaspan Planet is an 86-foot tugboat built in 1964 and equipped with a 765bhp Caterpillar D398 diesel engine. It is part of the extensive Seaspan Marine fleet, which provides ship assist, docking, and towing services on Canada's West Coast.

This old gas station in Gretna, Virginia, now occupied by a towing service and a tanning salon, is in Art Moderne style. It is simple in design with little decoration except for horizontal lines of brick in relief placed in bands equal to the height of the windows; the orientation of the building is essentially horizontal rather than vertical, which one might expect in Art Deco. The lower portion of the structure is built of brick with prominent glass windows. The upper portion is probably concrete. Roofing still exists over the former gas islands, supported by wooden posts, decorated with a fleur-de-lis motif. I don’t know the date or the history of this structure; but I remember seeing it over 40 years ago and being struck then by its design.
