I have just spent the last four days in a tiny little town called Sea Lake, in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria, about 4 hours from where I live. The town is famous for the myriad and ever changing reflections found at the salty Lake Tyrrell.
I will include more information as I post images (of which there are very many!). I didn't know what to start with and as much as I hate posting photos of myself, this was the scene that greeted us when we first arrived and I think having someone in the image illustrates its claim to fame ( This was after several selfie attempts that just show gumboots!). The night sillouhettes are what the Asian tourist market fly across the world for.
The city of Oia, Santorini, located on top of a volcanic crater. One of the greatest tourist attractions of Greece. Best viewed full screen!

No great story, I just liked these tourist trinkets for sale at the gift shop at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. San Francisco, California.
When visiting the church Santi Cosma e Damiano in Rome (which I strongly recommend you do - and if you are tourist and visit the usual hot-spots of the city you will walk past the place, so you really have no excuse not to) you won't walk straight into the church, as you usually do. Instead you enter a cloister-like arcade that you have to walk around. It is very calming experience in itself, with murals on the walls, plenty of greenery and a central fountain. The place is actually the Mother house of the Third regular Franciscan order, and has been that since 1512. The architecture here, and the fountain, dates to the 17th century.

This is Reynisfjara beach - Iceland. Reynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, which features basalt columns and the dramatic Reynisdrangar sea stacks. It's beside Vik i Myrdal, the southernmost village on the mainland of Iceland.
The sand at Reynisfjara is black due to its volcanic origins. Formed from cooled lava that flowed into the ocean during eruptions, the lava fragments were broken down over time by the powerful waves, creating the distinctive black sand beach we see today.
The beach is also known to be dangerous due to 'sneaker' waves but despite this (and the most horrendous winds when we visited) we encountered this somewhat excited tourist who asked my wife to film him before proceeding to dance around without a care in the world! And no this isnt a colour splash shot - everything was grey apart from my wifes coat.
Berlin is great for a lot of reasons but one of them is the excellent public transport system. They have an S-Bahn, a U-Bahn, normal trains, these electric trams, and buses. I probably missed a couple in there but suffice to say it's an easy place for a dumb tourist like myself to get around. It says a lot for a city when they get something as essential as transportation sorted out like they have in Berlin.
I immediately liked this composition when I came across it, with those 3 trams staring down the tracks at me and the bicycle stranded and looking slightly threatened at the corner of the frame.
