Comune di Lubiana
Il municipio di Lubiana è la sede del comune di Lubiana.
Si trova in piazza della città nel centro della capitale, vicino alla cattedrale di San Nicola. L'edificio originale fu costruito in stile gotico nel 1484, probabilmente su progetto di Peter Bezlaj. Tra il 1717 e il 1719 l'edificio ha subito una ristrutturazione in stile barocco con ispirazione veneziana da parte di Gregor Maček.

I'm a bit of an early bird which provides great opportunities to take photos before the majority of people have left their beds. This was taken near Bath Cathedral.
Each lunchtime during the Turkish Tourist season Turunc sees an invasion of day trippers from neighboring Marmaris
This Church is atop the Hill of Tara. By day the tourists stroll through in their search of High Kings. In the evening, when they are gone, the crows take over. Cawing in their hundreds in the beeches around the graveyard. My grandfather and great grandfather are buried there.

Yvoire (en francoprovenzal Ivouère) es una comuna y población de Francia, en la región de Auvernia-Ródano-Alpes, departamento de Alta Saboya, en el distrito de Thonon-les-Bains y cantón de Douvaine.

Yvoire (in Franco-Provençal Ivouère) is a commune and town in France, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Haute-Savoie department, in the district of Thonon-les-Bains and canton of Douvaine.

It is a medieval fortified town located on the shores of Lake Geneva, at the northern end of the cape located west of the Gulf of Coudrée. The creation of the lordship of Yvoire took place in the 12th century, although the fortifications are from the 14th century, erected by order of Amadeo V of Savoy. Today it is a tourist destination, included in the navigation routes of Lake Geneva, and has received distinctions such as the four flowers of a tourist town or the dedication in 2006 of a stamp by the French postal service.
Due to its beauty and tourist appeal, it is one of the towns classified as Les plus beaux villages de France.
The picturesque town of Stanley (population 553), sits below the amazing prominence known as "The Nut". This is in fact the plug of an extinct volcano that rises 143 metres above sea level. Stanley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tasmania (when tourism is operating!). In the distance at the far right you can make out the huge jetty of Port Latta and the smelter, with the hills of Rocky Cape. In 2016 Stanley was converted to a film set for the historic movie, "Light Between Oceans".

It's a unique and often overlooked natural wonder with brightly colored clay formations, hoodoos, and spires, making it a hidden gem for hiking and photography.
Having visited the most popular Garden Of Gods park twice, we were delighted to find a gorgeous badland hidden away from the tourists.

This is Reynisfjara beach - Iceland. Reynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, which features basalt columns and the dramatic Reynisdrangar sea stacks. It's beside Vik i Myrdal, the southernmost village on the mainland of Iceland.
The sand at Reynisfjara is black due to its volcanic origins. Formed from cooled lava that flowed into the ocean during eruptions, the lava fragments were broken down over time by the powerful waves, creating the distinctive black sand beach we see today.
The beach is also known to be dangerous due to 'sneaker' waves but despite this (and the most horrendous winds when we visited) we encountered this somewhat excited tourist who asked my wife to film him before proceeding to dance around without a care in the world! And no this isnt a colour splash shot - everything was grey apart from my wifes coat.
