The Rogers County Historical Society has almost completed the restoration of the Galloway Totem Pole.. It is the largest concrete totem pole in the world at 90 feet tall and 30 feet at the base. Was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999

The Dragon is the symbol of primordial power. He is the master of all the elements: fire, water, air and earth. As a spiritual guide, it is a powerful ally in our daily lives thanks to its amazing restorative and powerful qualities.

The dragon spirit is drawn to people of intelligence, dignity, contagious enthusiasm, and authority. The dragons guide these people to intelligence and, in fact, to enlightenment. Within this framework, your Dragon Spirit animal teaches you to roar, to find your voice, to be heard and truly understood.

These reflections on a building in downtown Vancouver sort of reminded me of a row of totem poles.

HSoS everyone!

Now defined as art, the totem has lost its cult, taboo, and custom ...

Monument Valley, Navajo Tribal Park, Utah, USA.

This spire monument is an example of what erosion does to a butte. They are probably the most photographed monuments in the valley.

Early light on one of the remarkable formations in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, the heavily eroded Totem Pole. The sand dunes look pristine but a closer look reveals there is indeed plenty of unseen traffic in the desert.

Totem poles are spiritually significant to First Nations people in Canada, as they serve as signboards, genealogical records, and memorials. The First Nations of Canada's Northwest Coast created them, and that is why so many of them stand in British Columbia. Thanks to Parreerica for the texture.
