1. Did you ever expect to be part of the final cast of GNTB C3?
Emilia: “I’m more than surprised that I made it into the top 12! I’ve never considered myself as beautiful or pretty. I’ve always been the odd or weird girl in school, maybe because we were immigrants. We were living in the US until my seventh Birthday and then moved over to Sweden in my dad’s hometown. Being the only redheaded girl in my class and having a face that constantly was full of freckles (even in winter) have not facilitated my situation… I actually got teased during my first years at school. The most popular name I went with was ‘Duck Face’...”
2. What are you looking forward to in the competition?
Emilia: “Definitely overcoming my insecurity and encouraging others. Desiree told me, that I’m here for a reason. So I’m sure others could be too - even if they never felt like they were pretty or beautiful - because everyone IS in a certain way!”
3. Tell me, what’s special about you – What could be the reason for you to win this thing?
Emila: “My style has always given me a piece of safety. I’ve loved the 50’s ever since I played dress up as a kid, using my grandmother’s old fashions. The vest I’m wearing was actually hers. Other than that I really like my eyes. I think I’m the only one here with bright green eyes (smiles).”
4. Which one of the girls could be your biggest competition during the show?
Emilia: “(hesitant) All of them!? - just because they all seem to be so confident and grown-up, but if I have to mention someone, I’d say Shanelle and Margaux, they’re just everything I’m not…”

Life wasn't always easy for Sybil as the daughter of the single parent kitchen aid Rita Martinèz. Growing up in the outskirts of New York, Sybil had to learn to take care for herself very early. She went through a lot of empyreumatic situations, as a gang member of the well known girly gang „Sharp Blades”. Drug trafficking, brawling and stealing were part of her everyday life.
Sybil caused a lot of trouble, but inwardly she always felt like being „Nothing“. That's why she began to embark on a quest for her roots.
Interviewing her mum, Sybil found out, that she is the result of a One-Night-Stand between the renowned Atlanta media mogul, Joseph Henry Samson and her mum, who worked as an employee in his home more than 19 years ago. This knowledge made her rethink her lifesituation in her hometown in New York. She wanted to escape her chaotic life and planned to get to know more about her father, or rather meet him for the chance of having a better life.
One day Sybil interruppted one of Joseph's press converences by screaming through the hall, that he has more than just four kids...
After a long and hard time with a lot of controversy, Joseph acclaimed his paternity in order to not damaging his reputation and gave Sybil the permission to bear his surname.
Now Joseph tries to support his new won daughter where he can (still thinking of his own career ;P) and gave her the possibility to join the cast of GNTB C3, which caused for a huge turmoil between Sybil and her half sister "Topmodel-Rookie" ;-) Simone Samson (www.flickr.com/photos/topdollmanagement/5278046511/in/set...)... :P
