my new tool box 8 feet tall over 6 feet wide

This tray was the second version for my mahogany toolbox.

i didn't really look inside. probably should've.

needs a little more work before it gets pressed into service. I had to recess the knobs so the door would close. Not sure why I need a door, but almost all toolboxes have one.

This is not old, but looks it. From an estate sale of an old guy with tons of tools, so we are assuming he built it to hold tools of some sort or another.

When I saw it, I immediately thought PLAY HOUSE.

Milkman, not so much.

I have a plan, sanding it down, a good minwax sealer, some nice little glass knobs on the three drawers. They will hold all the people, dishes, furniture needed to play house on the top. The end areas are perfect porches. It's really REALLY heavy, so it won't be tipping over or moving around much.

Cassettiera order racing personalizzata arancione chiusa

Mom recently bought Grandma and Grandpa's house and workshop. She's cleaning out the workshop and found this old toolbox.

Skerries, Co. Dublin.

the cat lives aboard the Kalmar Nyckel and is taken care of by Captain Morgan.

If you line up the back edges of the boxes carefully, all three lids will hinge together. I had to cut off the little flanges on the front of the lids on the side compartments because it was a hassle getting them all to tuck in at once (the Elite box is just a tick wider in its narrow dimension than the original Oc box).
