Brick townhouses on Union St in good ole Brooklyn:-).Although it's fashionable to call these "brownstones"they really aren't.The only things made from the brownstone material is the stoop (steps) and the casing around it.In any case,it will run you a couple of million dollars to own one in the city.
My old pal and I messing, trying out shots, and I came away with this image of his Gibson Les Paul which I like. I am drawn to the burnished colours partially, but primarily to the solid engineering excellence of it. I took the shot with the intention of a mono conversion which I did, and I like, but I couldn't deny those colours!

Day 1 — From our postponed and overdue vacation. Disney seems to do most things right, and COVID safety is no exception. It was a great time with minor changes to routines and lines, but otherwise a magical time as always.
was a historic sandstone shipping quay built in 1791 in Little Neston, Cheshire, to export coal from the Neston Collieries to North Wales and Ireland, as well as for inland transport via canal.
The Neston Coalfield first disturbed the peaceful fields of Ness over two hundred and fifty years ago, in 1759. It was an eastward extension of the North Flintshire Coalfields across the Dee, and much of the coal was hewn from tunnels that ran out under the river.
Sir John Massey Stanley, of the rich and influential Stanley family, lord of the Manor of Ness sunk the first shaft, but in the following decades complex issues of land ownership emerged, involving Stanley, the Earl of Shrewsbury who held 3/5 of Little Neston, and the Cottingham family, who held the other 2/5.

To be fair, the forest was all around while enjoying this walk in Kincaid Park. For this image though I decided to focus on this one section of forest and trees. There was a combination of the more distant trees as well as the tall grasses and small bushes that added to the foreground and a more complete setting.
