My first ever photo taken in Austria.
Not my first visit, I have visited Vienna and Salzburg when I was a kid, but I was not in control of the camera back then. And this time it was just as transit between Germany and Italy - but that is no excuse not to take a couple of photos at least.
In der jahrhundertealten und wunderbar restaurierten Venezianersäge in St.Gertraud, wo bis in die 80er Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts die Bauern des Südtiroler Ultentales ihr Holz zum Sägemeister brachten, ist nun das neue Besucherzentrum über den "Stilfser Joch Nationalpark" im Ultental untergebracht. Im Hintergrund sieht man den Zufrittkamm, einen östlichen Ausläufer der Ortler-Gruppe.

🇫🇷 Comme au Tyrol autrichien, lors des randonnées faciles ou moyennes on trouve des lieux de petite restauration...de rafraîchissement. Nous ferons la pose un peu plus loin et plus haut
🇩🇪 Wie im österreichischen Tirol findet man auf leichten und mittelschweren Wanderungen Orte, an denen man eine kleine Mahlzeit zu sich nehmen kann...eine Erfrischung. Wir werden ein Stück weiter und höher posieren
🇮🇹 Come nel Tirolo austriaco, durante le escursioni facili o medie ci sono punti di ristoro. Faremo una pausa un po' più avanti e più in alto
Dopo aver trovato un secondo gigante cartello monitore su altrettante vie d'accesso ai punti foto della zona di Ötzbruck, ho pensato per un attimo di essere capitato nella "parente" austriaca della famosa Area 51.
Abbandonata quindi l'automobile e proseguito per un paio di chilometri a piedi son riuscito ugualmente a scattare a questo mistone evitando persino di essere rapito dagli alieni.
