First one I've seen this year so very pleased that it settled although only briefly. Shame I couldn't get the macro lens fitted in time! Like the way the mottled underwing is showing through in these images.

Just before the Tip-Off (1/3 of the way from the right), we took a pause for some snacks and photos. This is a 360° view. Things are real big down in this canyon! That rest house is about 15 feet high, and Sergio is a wee little speck down and to the left of it. From this point we followed the trail down the red ridge on the right. We were getting pretty close to the river by this point - see it also on the right. And Wotan's Temple, one of the larger formations north of the river, is at the far left in the distance.
