Carro tipo con ruedas: este tipo es apto para pendientes entre 4% -30%. El carro está armado con 4 ruedas de gomas y frenos centrifúgales (automáticos). Con una pendiente promedio de 7%, el carro alcanza una velocidad de hasta 45-50 Km/hr.
El trayecto se inicia en el chalet Rodelbahn, en carros para 1 - 2 personas. Se sube la montaña en el carro hasta el principio de la pista gracias a un andarivel que lleva el Trineo hasta la altura precisa.
El ascenso es suave y relajado en medio de abundante vegetación que predomina en la montaña. Desde allà se inicia el descenso por la Pista de Trineo, cuya construcción completa es de acero inoxidable, con un circuito de 1 Km. de largo y con una infraestructura de diferentes niveles y curvas.
El carro tiene una palanca, la que debe ser tomada con ambas manos; a travéz de ella uno regula la velocidad, hacia atrás frena mientras que hacia delante el carro queda libre; controlando cada participante la velocidad del descenso como lo estime conveniente, la que puede alcanzar unos 45 a 50 Km. por hora.
En las curvas sentirás que estás en las Olimpiadas, la velocidad y la diversión son increÃbles.
Al término del trayecto, llegarás al chalet Rodelbahn, fin de la pista y podrás disfrutar de un oportuno refresco en la CafeterÃa Alpina observando un maravilloso atardecer desde la montaña.
Es una excitante experiencia que no te la puedes perder ...
