Time’s up

I’m moving on

Life’s fucked

I’m on my own

Say what you want to say

It won’t change a thing

What’s done is done

And I am fucking done (no more games)

Baby, it’s too late

We weren’t meant to be

So I am asking you to stay away for both our sakes

TOPSHAM WRECK

Amazingly this wreck seems to have been there forever. No attempt to tow away, owners long scarpered off, typical way of wrecks.

But for us snappers it's horrah time, it provides excellent opportunities for fantastic pictures such as this !

Just like everything else time is in a big hurry. Hour glasses were named for the amount of time it took the sand to drop into the bottom when flipped over. This little time keeper when flipped only takes 1 minute 32 seconds.

The Devil’s Demise - September 24, 2024

Satan is a fallen, embittered, and evil angel. He wreaks havoc on earth and leaves devastation in his wake. Every war, worry, and weary soul can be blamed on him. Hence, to imagine Satan bound, locked away from humanity—what an appealing thought! Has this incarceration occurred? Has Satan been removed from the earth and locked away? As far as I can tell, he is still “a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8 GNT). Satan’s incarceration is a yet-to-be event.

But he will be incarcerated. Revelation 20 declares with the reality of the devil’s upcoming demise. The millennium will be glorious because Satan will be bound Christ will be crowned, and we will reign with Jesus for a thousand years.

As most of us know when you’re in college you have more time than money. Funny, as it’s the same for parents of college students as well. This was taken at ASU in front of my son’s dorm as I waited to pick him up. It was early Saturday morning and I decided to entertain myself. I just happened to catch these two guys waiting for someone as well in the reflection of a passing bus. I can only imagine what must have gone through their heads as I sat focused on these meters waiting for traffic to pass, probably “Dumb Ass”.

Save the Girl, Educate the Girl.

Violence against women and girls is everyone's problem. It brings down an entire society. We are ALL touched by femicide in India. Census data shows that poverty and illiteracy are not key factors in India’s female genocide as many assume. The survival of girls is determined by a patriarchal politics of wealth control.

In recent years, the voices of survivors and activists, through campaigns such as #MeToo, #TimesUp, #Niunamenos, #NotOneMore, #BalanceTonPorc and others, have reached a crescendo that cannot be silenced any more.

And now for something completely different. First appearing in April 1964 in the classic Marvel Comics "Tales of Suspense" number #52 battling Iron Man. This Russian beautiful superspy was co-created by the legendary Stan Lee and would serve as a fantasy footnote during the very real life times of the Cold War between the US and Russia that the entire world would be gripped by the thought of Nuclear War. Natasha would be written and cast as the villain in these early old comics (if you have some and in mint condition, you've got a goldmine in the attic), she would later defect to the US and fight alongside the first roster of The Avengers in their comic run of July 1966. Disney Marvel's take on the Black Widow character portrayed perfectly by gorgeous Scarlett Johannsson from 2010 in Iron Man 2 until her final appearance in her standalone solo film "Black Widow" in 2021 was a excellent depiction to begin with, but of course in this current era of all things "sexy", Hollywood started desexualizing the character away from her comic book roots and ultimately the viewer was left with an empty husk against what the superspy's main ingredient was all about - being sexy and sexual towards the opposite sex to gain attention, information and access for the good of the team. This woeful change was something the actress herself got behind on as the tub thumping of #METOO and #TIMESUP was already a dying movement having outed and ousted a lot of the bad men in and around Hollywood that preyed upon young actresses with reports and accusations of sex discrimination. As a result of these sanitised changes that was already evident to the screen character of Natasha in the last two Avengers films. The sexiness that was overt and present in her roles in "Iron Man 2" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" was now pushed down to bare minimums, no longer flirty and the classic black skintight costume was now just tight in areas but also bulky and armoured especially around the boob region. Hollywood's attempts to divert the "male gaze" is a real lifestyle movement by extreme left-wingers. But as always the best version of Black Widow resides in the classic Marvel comics from the 1960s and 70s where she was always very sexy and extremely dangerous. #14 from 19.
