"Let's do the archive again..." to the tune of The Rocky Horror Picture Show classic... TImewarp.
Sorry, losing it, need to get back out there :-)
Oct 1st, early o'clock... not at Loch Ard, but in Loch Ard.

DB 103 113 departs Andernach with a matched TEE set on its way from the DB Museum in Koblenz to Koeln Hbf. As you can see the sun was no guarantee so was ecstatic to have actually won the "cloud lottery"!
TEE zurück auf die Heimatstrecke....103 113 verlasst Andernach mit ein Sonderzug von DB Museum Koblenz nach Köln Hbf. Zum glück habe ich das Wolken Lotto gewonnen!
Later know as Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Rodney, MS.
This white frame building was erected somewhere around the 1870's
A combination of architectural styles was incorporated in the structure including dentiled cornices, arched windows and doorways, and a cupola styled belfry.
and then a step to the right,
with your hand on your hips
you bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane.

The amazing site of the Tengboche Monastery nestled in the mountains at 3,867 metres (12,687 ft) presents itself like a timewarp from a different age. The Tengboche Monastery (Thyangboche Monastery) also known as Dawa Choling Gompa, sits in the area of Khumjung which is part of in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal. The monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Nepalese Sherpa community and the ancient scriptures of Tibet refer to this valley along with Rowlang and Khanbalung valleys as sacred places. Tenzing Norgay, who was a local inhabitant of Tengboche village, was the first to reach the summit of Mount Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary on the British 1953 expedition. You can see the trial from Phortse running across the mountains on the other side of the valley. Shot with Fuji Velvia slide film. Nepalese Himalayas, Nepal.

Created for Artistic Manipulation’s Mixmaster Challenge # 35
Mixing up eras, we must have one vintage person in vintage tones, contemporary background, one animal, have a texture and no trees.
The vintage person is my Great Aunt Lena, who, in spite of her demure expression here, was WAY ahead of her time in every aspect! And I mean EVERY! All other parts of the image are from my travels. Even kitty seems to have journeyed in a time machine.... I do think Aunt Lena would’ve loved this photo and even the racy content of that window....

The A861 out from Kinlochmoidart to Glenuig is one of my favourite bits of road where it snakes along the side of thesea loch. I like it most at low tide when the xepanse of mud flats are exposed. There are remarkably few inhabitants of the area of Kinlochmoidart. Perhaps 10 at most? But yet it is so rich in history, see www.moidart.org.uk/timewarp/timewarp.htm it's an amazing area, and that's without mentioning the wildlife
But I've no idea why a jetty was needed here, although there was no road to the area until about the 1960's so I guess everything was transported by boat or steamer.
Built new for the St. Louis Southwestern Railway (Cotton Belt) in April 1976, an 89 foot bilevel auto rack moves slowly into Roper Yard in South Salt Lake on July 9, 2016. The car was involved in a sideswipe accident in 2015, and emerged looking new thanks to Railcar Service, Inc. in Kansas City, KS.
The boring functional description is that this is a pedestrian and bike tunnel under the South Eastern Freeway - the main road artery out of Adelaide - at Mount Barker in South Australia.
But surely it is a work of art and clearly a wormhole in the time-space continuum.
