#ThrowbackThursday Transdev Harrogate "The 36" BL65YYN seen coming into Leeds Bus Station on service 36 from Harrogate
Here I was in Barcelona almost a year ago, definitely the best travel I had with my sister Francesca, looking forward to travel with her again in London this December ...
For Throwback Thursday. This picture of my daughter and son was taken at the annual Autism Awareness walk in April, 2011. The event was held at the Jones Stadium at Texas Tech University.
I had been taking photos of birds for ID purposes for quite some time with my trust Canon S2IS P&S, until it finally croaked. Took the plunge and upgraded to a DSLR, the Canon Rebel. Got better pictures and could ID more birds...but it was this photo that made me realize I could have fun capturing a bird's personality and specialness. It's a photo I treasure, and it still hangs proudly on the wall in the den.
My photostream is like a timeline for me. I don't like posting photos out of sequence.
But I also have a large archive of photos that I have missed posting.
Hence I am starting a Throwback Thursday album. I will aim to post a photo each Thursday from my archives. It could be 3 months old or 3 years old...
For this one, can anyone tell me where this was taken?
It's Thursday and time for a throwback! In Gothenburg it's finally plus degrees again which means that it is raining again instead of snowing - sad, yes - but at least no more sliding to work on icy roads! Yay! So what better time to post a sunny throwback to lazy days at the pool?

A little hiatus from dance photos (although I am almost done anyway) for #ThrowbackThursday. This is the same photo as last week, processed very differently.

My first year playing in the gay league in Cincinnati. Hard to believe I've been doing this for nine years this summer.
This years Winterfest would likely have been on this coming weekend, alas Covid-19 has seen the death of that... there's always next year!
Here we see 'Djinndalah, Jungle Queen' looking ever so pleased to being photographed! Eek! Time to run!
#ThrowbackThursday to when I was in Paris. I pretty much miss walking along its streets and seeing the wonderful buildings over there!
Here I post a pic I took on my phone of the Eiffel Tower with #nofilteradded.
I hope you guys like it <3
An impromptu kid group shot I took at a Christening last year. Group shots are notoriously difficult, more so when kids are involved! However I quite like the way this shot turned out.
For Throwback Thursday. Earlier this week, my son graduated from the welding training program that he has been in since August, 2019. So today, I have a throwback picture of his first birthday in September, 2001. It was just two days after 9/11.

I have been freaking out about the Hunger Games recently, especially with Catching Fire coming out soon! I'm definitely going to be that crazy fangirl in the crowd. I also already miss the green woods, the cold is killing me. I plan to do some HG photos I've had in mind in honor of the movie, this oldie inspired me!
Shout out to Nathan, my amazing cousin who does a lot of crazy things for me
From recently scanned negatives of photos never printed before. My version of the time machine.
Time machine indeed. Nizhny Novgorod or Gorky as it was called in the Soviet years was the only city on the Volga river I visited. Even back then, in 1978, it struck a visitor by its quiet 19-century beauty.
This and other photos Nizhny Novgorod are at www.bfcollection.net/cities/russia/nizhnynovg/nizhnynovg....
This shot was taken last year at the beginning of a christening, while friends and family gathered outside. I took several candid shots during this initial greeting, but it's nice when you get unexpected eye contact.
There's a moment between the two of us, everyone else oblivious to my presence except her. Even though I am not in the shot, my presence is felt within the image.
