My #throwbackthursday pic....My sister & me..we clearly love each other in this pic (although AJ's face is hard to read...that's also normal...she plays close to the vest...that's why she's good at gambling...and managing things) me: long hair, tie & sweater vest...and a BIG smile...a portent of things to come...circa late 1970s..

photo365 - Day 198
This shot was taken in front of our farm near Glenn, Michigan. I do have distinct memories of the lawn chairs and of the tricycle, of course. The trellis around the front door, not so much. ;-)

In Joe’s time here in the Western Trust we have seen many milestones including the Day Procedure Unit at the Tyrone County Hospital reaching its 20th anniversary in December 2015. To mark this significant milestone, patients, staff and management, past and present, gathered together for an afternoon of celebration and reminiscing.
The 14 bedded unit opened in December 1995 providing services such as general surgery, ENT, gynaecology and endoscopy, treating over 2,500 patients from Omagh and the surrounding areas in its first year. Fast forward to today and the unit has increased its bed capacity to 21 beds and has embraced many new innovative specialities such as vascular access, treating approximately 5,500 patients each year from right across the Western Trust area.

Here is my business card from 1978. I was fresh out of the University of Waterloo with an Electrical Engineering degree. Nortel at that time was Northern Telecom and the research arm in Ottawa was called Bell-Northern Research.
I started working on designing microprocessor based hardware and software. At that time a microcomputer system used for development, a forerunner to the PC, cost $20,000 and the disk drives were 8 inch floppy disks containing an amazing 512 kilobytes of data. It is amazing in that we could actually do useful work with the tiny amount of storage by today's standards.
I worked on Telidon, an early version of the Internet and the first software for Display Phone.
We were going to change the world, so we thought. Even in our wildest dreams did we know how much the world would actually change because the work of the industry.

#throwbackthursday puting in a #st205 #engine in the #st 185 #gtfour. Notice the wonderfully placed oil filter. Compared to the 2nd gen placement which was trial by fire to replace. #3sgte #toyota

noritoy: @cuttyman9 the 2nd gen is next to the down pipe and upside down so you always dump oil too. I always lift from the cross member due to the stuff chassis. Lifting one side either lifts the rear too so I have to jack from the rear diff carrier too.
cuttyman9: Ah, I do if from the side usually cuz once I go to the opposite side it drops the rear. I didn't trust the center support cuz it's narrow and flexes.
csalltrac: That's so much better than the gen 2. I dred changing oil just cuz of that. I wouldn't mind going 3rd gen on the next setup
noritoy: @csalltrac I would at least do the relocation kit or maybe see if you can use the 205 oil pan and mount. If you have a perfectly good 2nd gen I would build it and go ems before 205.
csalltrac: I'm on AEM stand alone. I think my next move will be a quality relocation kit
csalltrac: @noritoy
noritoy: I think hks makes them for our cars. It should not be hard to find something.
swank_force_one: @csalltrac Mocal and Trust/Greddy should make them as well. Pretty standard thread and housing design
