Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do I really need to explain this one? If you don’t understand this statement; there’s no amount of explanation from me or anyone else that can help your dilemma. If you are one of the vast majority that understands; please read on.
The initial statement was in fact initially posed regarding to external beauty, however the statement is applicable to pretty much everything you can think of. Imagine the most beautiful picture you’ve ever seen. Now picture the critic that hates the composition. How about the hot pink couch (eww) that you loved so much as a teenager? Remember when your mom came in and asked, “What the heck is THAT?” Paint colors, wall paper, swim suits, hair cuts, landscaping, furniture, composition, images, or processing, someone will ALWAYS be there to take the opposite stance on what YOU deem beautiful. If YOU think it’s beautiful don’t ever let anyone tell you that it isn’t. YOU are the beholder!
