Another decent week thanks to effexor the wonder drug. I still, and will for a long time, get out of whack pretty easy. I still have very hard time concentrating at the task at hand. I still need to retreat to my own little world to feel a sense of peace.
Thursday was my toughest day. The little things threw me off quite a bit. A missed therapy appointment. Fucking nitpicky clients that make me feel as if I do everything wrong and the other stressors of daily life combined to throw me into an all day funk. In fact, when I took those fun school bus pics that day, I was wickedly depressed. Walking and creating helped some. Riding my bike on some sweet singletrack that borders this park helped more. And talking with a friend sealed th deal. Snapping out of it is much easier.
Kim tells me I was more "available" this week as I helped her through her own rough patches. Through it all, I still rely heavily on my own retreats - the camera, flickr and the bike. I suppose it's good though. Whatever it takes. Right?
Whatever it takes to round the bend. I think I'm close. Now is when the real work begins. The work to change the pattern, break the cycle and not fall into the trap that wellness presents. I can do it. I think.
