A big thank you to Steve www.flickr.com/photos/sieren/ ..a little story...a bit exhausted at the end of the day...and I needed to find a tall sagebrush..no bathrooms out here....well as I hurried to catch up with the group I realized I left my camera by the sagebrush...so I started searching and searching and searching in a large field of sagebrush!...it was going to be dark soon...and here comes Steve to check up on me and he took the time to help me look and he found my camera...so he was my hero of the day...and we still had time to shoot the sunset!
Peace. Love. And light.... to show the way to the future. For all of us. Thank you for coming by to visit today. It means a lot to me. Happy Easter.....................explore 228. Thank you all..

The hummingbird and the butterfly is from Sue, the rest is a texture from myself and I framed it after a little bit of my secret processing to get those colours.
The little kingfisher in the middle is living in my hood but very rare to see, so I was once lucky to catch him.
Thank you all for your kind visits this uploading day.
I will be away for some days, so miss me and enjoy looking on my previous uploads.
Take all good care

The image and quote are dedicated to my dear and loyal friend, S. Alex Maier
as a huge thank you for his wonderful testimonial and because of my admiration
for him - as a photographer, a champion of good causes, and as a kind and
caring human being.
His superb portraits of shelter dogs capture the spirit and beauty of these
unwanted waifs and raise awareness of their plight more effectively, in my
opinion, than a campaign of words ever could. The silent appeal of a powerful
image can be a great motivator, and Steve must take some credit for the fact
that his subjects find good homes.
Steve's photostream is rich with the colour and diversity of the natural world
and is a wonderful testament to his artistic vision, technical mastery and
profound sensibilities. For an uplifting experience, I recommend that you pay
him a visit:
My iPhone told me that Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, had died. This is an iPhone photo of my MacBook Pro showing the apple.com website announcing his death. Sad!
Apple: "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."
Is the world "immeasurably better because" of you?
It is Kevin's birthday (Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,. happy birthday dear Kevin, happy birthday to you) and as I did not have time to make a cake at such short notice I had to go to the best confectioner in New York and borrow one of his exquisite creations - I do hope that he forgives me this liberty without asking his permission. He is of course the inimitable and generous Steve aka ineedathis. Here is his beautiful cake without Kevin gracing it

I'm winding down my Flight Series. It has been a very exhilarating experience.
Seeing the world, or at least a portion of it, from the great above reassured my faith that indeed there is a Hand that created all these.

Moments come and go.
Whatnots and whatevers
show up out of the blue
muddle and confuse you a while
and then
just vanish... into thin air,
just as quickly as they intruded.
Tough times don't last.
Only tough people do.
I refuse to vanish just yet.
*Waiting for our turn to take-off.*
I know I normally post my photography on here but I wanted to show some respect to Steve Jobs. I will miss him greatly.
