This was shot on our way to Sihnagad (Kondana).
Thane Creek is close to where I live. Took this picture in the evening just before the Sunn went below the horizon and managed to get the reflection of the sunlight of the boats hull. Contrasting the boat very well in this picture.

Just finished reading "Lost Stars", a fantastic canon novel written by Claudia Gray.
The story about Ciena and Thane is so cool that I had to make a quick shot of them, as a reminder of what they'd been through. After this one, watching the Battle of Yavin, Hoth or Endor will never be the same, not to mention that now (I think) we know the story behind that ISD wreck on Jakku!

Since morning I latched myself with a Dahi Handi battalion called Ganeshotsav Mandal Talwadi Mazgaon, I was with them at various places where they broke the Dahi Handi..
The last one was at Thane of TMC Corporator Mr Pratap Sarnaik..
Here they broke the World Record by creating a 9 tier human pyramid..
Mr Bal Nandgaonkar MLA and Mr Yeshwant Jadhav Corporator of Mazgaon,gave ample support to their Mazgaon lads at each juncture..
I left as I wanted to post these pictures, in the rush lost my wallet too, but it was worth the effort..

Thane became a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm during December 28, before as it approached the Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, it weakened slightly. Thane then made landfall early on December 30, on the north Tamil Nadu coast between Cuddalore and Puducherry and rapidly weakened into a depression.
Cyclone 'Thane' to reach Tamil Nadu by early Friday morning. The severe cyclonic storm Thane is expected to cross not Tamilnadu coast between Nagapattinam and Chennai, Close to Puducherry early on Friday morning.
Shot this in Chennai Marina Beach before an hour. The waves which dash the shore are at least 7-8 feet high but these people are fearless Or careless ???

Bakarwal (or Bakharwal) is a nomadic tribe based in the Pir Panjal and Himalayan mountains of South Asia. They are mainly goatherds and shepherds. 'Bakarwal' is derived from the Gojri/Urdu/Punjabi/Kashmiri/Dogri terms, bakra meaning goat or sheep, and wal meaning "one who takes care of". Essentially, the name "Bakarwal" implies "high-altitude goatherds/shepherds".
Bakarwals are spread throughout the northern part of the Himalayan Range. the states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab (India) in India. In Pakistan, Bakarwals are found in the hilly northern parts of Punjab (Pakistan) as well as parts of the North West Frontier Province, the Northern Areas (Gilgit, the Hunza Valley and Baltistan) and Azad Kashmir (Mirpur and Muzaffarabad).
They are also found in the PRC controlled regions of the state, namely Aksai Chin and the Shaksgam Valley.
