After the horrible "drop" incident at Western Ave, B&H delivered a present in the form of a Nikon 18-300MM lens. Now, I should not have to switch lenses for the big tele shots. After unwrapping the lens I went trackside to nab #3 at Belmont. I hit both a long tele then stood back for this wide angle at high speed to test the limits. Not bad at all. Expensive mistake, but at least I received a new toy from the mess.
this is a page of test prints for an idea. it was just made to see how the ink would work and to clean the screen. 5 layers on illustration board!

Just received my Sony NEX-5N kit today and decided to do some test shots. Stay tuned...more to come :)
Test shot, this time gelled with a CTO, plus a different flash unit - a Norman 200b at 50ws.

Norman 200b in umbrella spokes at 50ws with a CTO gel and diffuser head, triggered by Elinchrom Skyports.
Canon 30D at 1/250 , f10 and 100iso with Sigma 10-20mm lens at 10mm.

It might look like twilight, but it was about 3:45 BST and quite bright!
The recently saved test prints from the Ampersand Letterpress Print press run.
Only 3 complete prints still exist and each has been numbered, stamped with the official red LL&S wax seal.
Test roll: almost all images are ruined. On the lower & left side of the negative. Why, I don't know. (BTW some images don't have this problem.) What's happened??

Test Roll of Lomography CN 400 in my new Lomogrpahy Konstruktor DIY SLR.
Held a Holga 60mm close up lens in front of the lens barrel and worked quite well. Little over exposed though.
Overall the pictures are okay. I don't think I'd be using it that often, the 1/80 shutter speed is just a bit too slow unless you stop and stand still.
Also it likes to eat film.
