So there's some funny cropping on this camera as you can see. The final image is almost square within the whole frame.
There's actually more sharpness and detail than I expected, but ultimately this demonstrates why I'd not use this camera for regular shooting. Not consistent enough, and the camera isn't close to as easy to use as my Nikon F.
As part of the week of testing, students can earn tickets to win items on display by the front door.
This flower is ~8mm wide. Minimum focusing distance of this lens is something around 80cm, but it's quite small distance, keeping in mind 600mm equivalent focal length.

Test shots with the new Pentax WG-1000. The Pentax seems to really struggle with some close up shots I was trying to take, despite me making sure it was in macro mode. Maybe just learning curve issues on my part.

Testes realizados com a câmara Canon EOS 500D, alterando os valores ISO usados mantendo o tempo de exposição em 1/30s e a abertura em f/4.
De forma geral, quanto maior o ISO mais granulada fica a imagem mas por outro lado permite tirar fotografias em locais mais escuros.

In general, with higher ISO the image is granulated but otherwise lets you take photos in darker locations.
