These are reject shots from when I was doing the 365 project. I have been having trouble with photoshop so I was testing it out. My photos have been turning out blurry. I was also wanting to check color and black and white. Hmmmm....don't know what's going on!

There's a reason for this odd title but I'll go into that later. Need some advice from everybody....
The six pictures are shot on Ilford HP5+. 3 were shot without filter while the other 3 were shot with a Hoya orange filter.
Each of the 3 shots for each set were shot at different exposures.
Of the six, which image do you prefer and why? I'm trying to calibrate my film so all comments will be welcomed
Hi,
Just to conclude my experiment, the order is as follows:
without orange filter
(a) +1
(c) measured exposure
(f) (-1)
with orange filter
(b) +1
(d) metered exposure
(e) -1
So, if you ever want to shoot B&W film.. you have an idea what an orange filter will do :-)
i love seeing my best friends kids with mine. it's so fun to think back on all of our history and see where we are now with our kids running around. such amazing stuff.

Our youngest daughter, who is a peniless student, brought her printer/scanner home last week. "It appears to be defunct Dad can you fix it?". Looks like I have been successful, so this is by way of a test scan.
1956 Guy Arab 4/Park Royal belonging to "Tynemouth" and parked up on waste land behind Northumberland Square, North Shields. Note in the background a Guy Arab 3/ Pickering, Guy Arab 3/ Weymann (very heavy and eight foot wide), the E93A Ford Pop and what looks like the rear of a facelifted FA series Vauxhall Victor. This latter vehicle dates the picture to post 1960.

My first test of the New55 1SHOT or rather Atomic-X film material. And I'm loving it! The folks at New55 have taken the tonal range of Plus-X, the grain of Panatomic-X, and the tabular grain system of 100TMX. Oh and add to that each shot is in their own ready-load envelope made of recyclable material!
Okay so this one's my favourite and really shows what I think makes Atomic-X sing, the tones, next to no grain...and now I want to get another set of this film! Maybe for the fall vacation!
