“When fortune calls, offer her a chair”....Thanks Rita for your testimonial!
I want to take a moment and celebrate all my Flickr contacts as well - I chose to photograph a section of my kitchen chair (above) as a symbol of the friendship I have with most of you. The strands represent all of you, coming together to form a single point of strength and every day providing me with support and most of all encouragement. As with the chair, every strand counts - from the most timid but consistent "fave" (you know who you are) to the most flamboyant award giver (you know who you are too!). Please know that all this support combined has helped to up my quality and has stirred my imagination to a degree I never thought possible. We must learn to trust what we see and photograph it in the best possible way. Thank you and here's to quality, good fortune and honest opinions!

Everytime I read a new testimonial, my heart beats faster, I feel an enormous gratitude and tenderness for the dear person who wrote it (which happened again last night)!! It is like a spontaneous, tender hug, that fills my whole being with an utmost unconditional Love for everything and everybody!!! THANK YOU , my generous, gentle friends for THIS!! I do not really feel worthy...Among the unimaginably talented Artists of Flickr, I am nothing, really... My blooming babies and the Divine Artist is what really works through me....

Well, let's return to our gardening things now.....I am really SO garden-excited today!! Like I was telling you yesterday, my three young Hamamelis (Witch Hazels) are in bloom!! The first colour of 2008 in the garden! It is not a Spring colour , actually, rather a wintery one....But the heart beats faster , yearning for Spring, when one sees them..
These three babies were adopted by me early last February, when I had the great chance for the first time, to visit the famous Arboretum de Kalmthout in Anvers/Antwerpen here in Belgium ( www.flickr.com/photos/agapanthus/sets/72157594569804888/ ). I bought them from the nursery in the Arboretum , being planted in three rather small pots. Therefore, their...Maternity Clinic is the Arboretum de Kalmthout! Planted in the garden since last February, they are about 60-70cm tall, and they grow rather slowly. Their final height will be 3m. They will be short lovely trees!
I present you here, in my Photostream Page , the best captures of them I took yesterday!! I am really SO happy sharing them with you!!

This is a thank you for theshutterbugeye who wrote me a lovely testimonial!
www.flickr.com/photos/theshutterbugeye/
Thank you so much!!
This image was so tricky!! I used theshutterbugeye's stream to inspire me for this one but also put my own personal style into it.
theshutterbugeye has taken some really cool photos of buildings lately, halloween inspired pics and is quite the expert at using textures. So I thought I would use those three elements as my inspiration... buildings, halloween and textures!!
I had taken this photo of a very old building on a university campus at Parramatta, Sydney quite a while ago.
I also had a intricate spider web photo which I also had never used so I used that as my texture.
Hope this has turned out ok, I don't do much texture work!
I got 2 wonderful testimonials from some very good flickr buddies. These two ladies are both wonderful artists in their seperate ways.If you haven't checked out Drenay's Photostreamor My girl Nikki's Stream then you are surely missing out.
I just want to thank you both so much for your beautiful words that can be seen here in my testimonials on my profile.

Pura Tanah Lot (Tanah Lot Temple) is Hindu Temple.
Located about 20 km from Denpasar, the temple sits on a huge offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.
Tanah Lot means "Land in the Middle of the Sea" (in Balinese language) is a famous rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali.
Note: It is a fantastic place to view beautiful dramatic sunsets. Every day at dusk, tourists throng the area to witness the magnificent silhouette of the temple against the glowing horizon.

I really wanna thank norskii and mazarin♥ for their sweet testimonials - don't forget to check out their beautiful streams.
I don't check the testimonials very often and it's strange that you don't get a mail saying there's a testimonial waiting to be approved... So go check your testimonials - you never know :)
Anyway, I made these letters just for you norskii & mazarin♥ - hope you like em :) Thanks again!
Even less than my other photos, these three are not presented for any kind of photographic competence but rather as simple testimonials to what beauty remains after the Woolsey Fire.
I have not yet had the courage to head into the burn zones, to see what can be seen beyond the 101 freeway but I know the destruction is both awesome and terrible.
A good friend of mine spends much of his day riding (or is that racing?) on the canyon roads between the valley and PCH. The other day he told me that he was depressed and without thinking I asked him why.
He said, "Because it's all burned." I wanted to hit him with a philosophical way of looking at it but I stopped myself. In my heart I knew that I and many other felt exactly the same kind of deep loss that he did.
Others, of course, have lost more than can be imagined.
It all got me thinking once again about what we still have here in our corner of Los Angeles County. The answer is that we have a lot. The best of it now feels even more fragile and under threat than it did just a few weeks ago.
Anyway, I present these three images as small and humble testimonials to the beautiful hills and grasses and trees that are still here for us to enjoy.
Healing takes a long time.
BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE,
i'd like to just thank Shandi-lee and Hey Summer for
their tearjerking testimonials (': You two are amazing,
those came out of nowhere-I wasn't expecting anything
like that at all. I wish I could hug you guys right now (x
They really made my day. Ahh, lol. :D <333
Second, i've been 'tagged' a few times since last time I
logged on and I think i've got a few questions to answer
as well, but if you dont' want to read everything, at least
read the last small paragraph. here we go (:
hey summer: what is your favorite thing in the world?
lol girl yu kiddin' right? seriously there is not just ONE thing
that is my favorite :3 but, if I honestly had to choose, it'd be...
being in a peaceful state, just reminiscing on my life and
daydreaming about my future. It's even nicer if i'm laying on
the grass under a cloudy sky. (:
aishia capture: where's your favorite place to be?
!n ur r00m, cr33p!n und@h y0 bl@nk3t$..lol oh god what if I
actually typed like that? you all would leave me D: ok, ok
errg, i'll act mature about this! This really nice park in a town
three hours away from where I live. It's really peaceful and
the trees there have big, beautiful pink flowers. AND they
have ducks. DUCKS. In a LAKE.
Light in The Air: If you could see yourself anywhere in
the future, where would you be? What would you be doing
and where?...stripper. lol. Okay, don't ROFL at me, but
I would like to be an actress, even though i'm kinda shy. I do
daydream about that more often than I actually just realized
right now. BUT if that never comes true, i'd either be an anchor
for the valley's (area where I live with a bunch of cities with a
ton of Mexican culture/influence) best news channel because
I do the news at my school, OR i'd own a sweet little indie
looking camera shop where I'd sell modern and vintage cameras,
film, camera straps, take pictures, give lessons, work with little
kids..that'd be pretty cool 'cos there's nothing like that here.
OROWN/DESIGNACLOTHINGLINE,
I'VEREVEALEDTOOMUCH.
alexa: What's your favorite song?
oh noes, the impossible question D: damn you -.- lol uhm,
at the moment my favorite song is 'Turbo Swag' and 'Smokahontas'
by Attack Attack! Oh, and that only girl in the world song by
Rihanna..it's catchy. :3 Eh, couldn't choose 1. :c
brooklynxX: Do you like your long hair?
YES. I love the length, but it's still not as long as I want it,
BUT i'm satisfied 'cos I had a bob about three/four years
ago and it's taken me THAT long to grow it all out. The only
cons are that I don't know how to style it up, and even though
I don't straighten it everyday/weekly I manage to get dry ends.
)': I'm happy you like my hair but please don't be jealous of it!
lol. it's very tedious to maintain n_n
Taylor;through a lens: Where does the inspiration behind
your photos come from? There is no secret to this. I do not
meditate. I do not ask Jesus to bless me with magical fingers
upon which I molest photoshop or my camera. It's when i'm really
bored in my class and start daydreaming weird stuff that become
ideas for photos lol. That's how I came up with the idea for my last
photo. c:
under.the.radar.: I am not gorgeous or talented!!!! I don't
say that so people will protest, honest o: I'm actually earnest
about that. but thank you morgan c: Actually, just two days ago,
I had to take my snakebites off because I was going to talk with
the principal..and..in the few hours they were off, the holes closed
so I no longer have my piercings )': lol I cried for 30 minutes. I miss
them a little, but it's less worrying now but when I had them they
never hurt (: Only when I bit the metal part on the inside by accident
while eating food. >_<
Sorry everything was so descriptive, I guess that's what happens
when i'm gone from flickr for a week. You've got my utmost respect
if you actually read all that junk lol, but even if you didn't i still love you
:D Meaning behind this photo? I've been fine for a while now, but never
in a true state of complete happiness. Reasons? Stress from school,
stress from boyfriend. Mostly stress from boyfriend. Ugh. I hope you
guys are enjoying life and watching adventure time. You. BETTER. be.
watching. adventure time. |: why haven't you guys come to mow my
arms??? I will pay you GOOD MONEY. $$$
__________
I want to say thank you to Giuliana for the testimonial using this image where light is protagonist so that I can express a double appreciation: one for the very nice words she wanted to write and the other for her style in photography where light is almost magic (there will be a reason if her nickname is “Light photography”).
Thank you very much Sue, Steve and Jason.
I discovered yesterday that all three had written me lovely testimonials, and to receive three in one day from excellent photographers like them, was just wonderful.
I am extremely chuffed.
Thanks again.
Please check out their superb photostreams

it's my finding nemo famiy drawing :D hahah. i drew this last night and i am actually quite proud of it, i must say ;) hahah. i've always been a rather crappy artist. but i was using a "how to draw" book FULL of disney characters so you might seen some more of these types of photos sporadically :)
i feel so much more free spirited and like.. i don't know but i like it :) i am finding myself as a person more i think. i am gaining a voice in this world and i'm actually doing things that mean and matter to me.
things are looking up<3
it's like i can feel a new chapter beginning for me in my life. i feel like i'm becoming someone. it's a sense of pride and accomplishment really, it surrounds me all the time. i haven't been in a bad mood in ages. i haven't felt sad or weighed down in weeks. it's like a freedom i didn't see coming.
thanks to Kari for her sweetly sweet testimonial ;"D
EDIT!:
if you guys want me to draw you a specific disney cartoon character, FM it to me because the book i have has all the classics in it :))

The Panmure Testimonial, otherwise known as the Live and Let Live Memorial, is a monument in Angus, Scotland. It was erected in 1839 to commemorate the generosity of William Maule, the 2nd Earl of Panmure (later 1st Baron of Panmure) during the 'year of short corn' in 1826, a year in which an unusually hot and dry summer led to severe food shortages. In response, Lord Panmure suspended the collection of rent from his tenant farmers. The monument was paid for in full by the tenant farmers.
The monument was designed by architect John Henderson, and is protected as a category B listed building.
