When Tesla updated their Model S Matchbox felt the need to do the same to their casting. Only they didn't just titivate their existing model, they started afresh with a brand new casting even if it does look rather similar and already its now on its fourth release.
One of a few found at Poundland as part of 2025 Case B.

2025 Case B recolour of the Matchbox Tesla Model S, a casting only introduced last year and reflects the Palladium update of the real vehicle and is actually a separate casting to its original Model S.
Now on its third release and continuing its glossy stock appearance with a beautiful blue colour and full front and rear detailing.

Banishing images of its previous terribly odd looking Model S is the new Hot Wheels Tesla Model S Plaid casting which really is now to Matchbox standards of stock accuracy. The Plaid is of course the ridiculously quick performance Model S which I believe is the fastest accelerating production car in the World!
Seen here in its new for 2025 recolour, though its debut release only appeared one or two batches prior, and instantly impresses with its glossy finish and on point front and rear detailing.
