Well this little one certainly took some finding! Despite finding what I thought was a full case of Batch J goodies way back in early April I quickly realised that this new Tesla Model 3 had already been taken. It then took a further TWO MONTHS before I found this and others! Typically of course they can now be found everywhere! ;-)
I wasn't too sure whether I was going to like this as much as the surrounding hype, it is after all a HW and not a Matchbox. I needn't have worried too much, it does look pretty neat especially in this debut metallic white finish. Its the smallest vehicle in the Tesla line up and is no doubt expected to be the volume product of its all electric line up. Ive yet to see one on British roads but i'm sure that will change very soon, the mass electrification has begun far far quicker than I ever imagined it.

With our government now decreeing that the sale of new fossil fuel engined vehicles will cease in 2035 you'd better hope Tesla and other manufacturers come up with a sensible solution for powering all these new electric cars! I wouldn't fancy living on Coronation Street with all those electric charging cables on the pavement! ;-p
Teslas success has meant several of their products feature in the Hot Wheels line up and for me their Model 3 is perhaps the most stock and sensible looking. Previous editions had overly bling wheels but for 2020 this casting deservedly gets more suitable looking ones and probably explains why I happily bought several of them recently, this one coming from B&M Bargains.
