Tiny Terror - After mating with the female in the previous image, the male flew to a low branch very close to me before heading out to hunt again and bringing back a Western Fence Lizard. I always wanted a close up of a pygmy owl on a clear perch and finally got my wish 9 years after my first sighting in Oregon in February 2014. As with all my owl images, no playback ever used, this male was just that indifferent to our presence.

The Topography of Terror is a project in Berlin that has existed since 1987 to document and deal with terror during the period of National Socialism in Germany, especially during the period of rule from 1933 to 1945.
This picture is not intended to make a political statement, it serves only as a photographic work of art.

The hotel used to be occupied by Harrison Hightower a rich collector who traveled the globe obtaining and sometimes stealing precious artifacts. One day on a trip to Africa he found a mysterious idol who eventually came to life causing Mr. Hightower’s elevator to come crashing to the ground.

Tiny Terror - Northern Pygmy-Owl heading out to hunt. Had an amazing encounter with a pair of this species hiking the Los Padres National Forest at dawn this past Spring. Thought I'd mix things up with all the Bobcats I've been posting lately. After wildcats, owls, eagles, falcons, etc. are my favorite subjects.

It was a normal evening until it became a night of terror!
Everyone walking along, enjoying the scenic factory smokestacks, breathing in the cool, sooty air, when Hedorah appeared!
Gross, malformed, oozing, Hedorah! A colossal mass of acidic molded malevolence towering into the red sky!
And those eyes! Baleful evil, locked on you with hatred!
Hedorah is the Smog Monster. The product of wanton pollution.
And before this night is over, if Hedorah does not bring you to a painful end by burying you in its melting muck or flying over and spraying you with toxic fumes, you may find your world transformed into a psychadelic disco with fish-headed people singing, "Save the Earth! Save the Earth!"*
Nowhere to hide,
Nothin doin,
When it's the world,
That's coming to ruin.
There's no shelter under,
It's a citywide cave-in,
As Kaiju thunder,
Through Paprihaven.
It's 13 Daze of Halloween,
On the largest scale we've ever seen,

Parque vazio...e alguém comentou, parece um filme de mistério!
Me ocorreu uma boa cena de um filme de terror, uma certo cara (que me está devendo uns bombons) vê o brinquedo vazio.
Ele vai e senta no cavalinho...derrepende o carrosel começa a rodar...em princípio bem lento, depois cada vez mais e mais forte...
O cara (bem feito!) grita desesperado e o brinquedo gira, gira...Ele agarrado no cavalo luta contra a força centrífuga...
Mas desesperado perde suas forças e é cuspido para fora do carrossel, se espatifando no chão!
Pobre pão duro...Ele quebrou uma perna, duas costelas e o pulso direito...Não vai poder viajar tão cedo, nem chorar porque dói, dói muito. E nem fotografar...
Pobre infeliz...
