Well, I'm in Iowa City. We don't have an office space yet, so my new assistant director (seen here) and my new regional director (stage left) are starting up out of a coffeeshop sympathetic to the cause. We just chill in our own little corner on cell phones and laptops. It's weird to be in a Big Ten campus town other than Minneapolis. I'm pretty stoked to where Maroon and Gold for the first time in the near future...

This is my temporary office, the place that I go to:

-get down to the business of looking for a job (see my chair almost at center?)

-go for a walk/jog on a treadmill

-do yoga

-meditate

-and visit Rabih.

Ivy: We watch you when you are on your computer, you know that right?

Me: Yes, why?

Ivy: Well, you know that Squirrel-girl?

Me: Yeah, she's cute, what about her?

Ivy: She has pencils her own size! Why don't we have those? This pencil is almost as big as me! Drawing like this is impossible...

Me: I know, sweetie, i'm sorry. You'll get your own things when i get our apartment sorted and fixed, and have unpacked all the boxes.

Ivy: Awesome!

Me: Don't get too excited just yet, it's going to take a while...

Ivy: Wait, let me help them.

Me: That's a nice thought, but there's a problem...

Ivy: Oh, but i do it for pure selfish reasons. When work here is done, you won't be in pain anymore, so you can hurry up with our apartment. And then we can get our little toys and pencils.

Me: Ah i see, but there's still a problem....

Ivy: Yeah, i think i know where you're getting at... I think i'd better not try to lift this.

Me: Very good idea, sweetie.

Ivy: I see you work between boxes too. It's worse than at home! At home we're not breathing in cementdust all the time.

Me: Tell me about it, it's terrible here at the moment. I don't even have a desk, i type at tables from the creativity classroom all day. My keyboard is now on chest-level. Not good for my shoulders and neck at all...

Ivy: Yeah, i feel yor pain *puts down oversized pencil*
