Meine persönliche Mondfinsternis am gestrigen Abend!
Der Mond war wegen der Wolken nur schemenhaft zu sehen. Von unserem Standpunkt auf der Friedenauer Brücke, - ein Gemälde von Ernst Ludwig Kirchner zeigt die Brücke, es hängt im Museum Ludwig in Köln - , hatte ich einen schönen Blick auf den Gasometer in Schöneberg, im Hintergrund steht der Fernsehturm am Alexander Platz.
Schön, dass Ihr mich besucht habt, ein Kommentar freut mich immer und ein Stern ist wilkommen!

My personal lunar eclipse last night!
The moon was only shadowy because of the clouds. From our point of view on the Friedenauer Brücke, - a painting by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner shows the bridge, it hangs in the Museum Ludwig in Cologne - "I had a beautiful view of the Gasometer in Schöneberg, in the background stands the television tower at Alexander Platz.

The television tower in Berlin. It was the first television tower in Germany to be built in the middle of the City (Alexanderplatz) instead of outside of the city.

The former wall strip between the districts Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg offers so much nature and now also this wonderful flower splendour. Photographed with the portrait mode of the iPhone 8+!

A shot of one of my favorite architectural subjects taken using my latest wide angle lens.
Did you see the television coverage a few weeks back of a failed rocket engine test (known as ‘Hot Fire’) at Stennis Space Centre, in Mississippi where an eight minute engine test had to be shut down after one minute.🔥🙈
As you know this is described as NASA's new 'Megarocket' which consists of four engines. As always both Hoof and Horace are on 24hr call out as technical engineering advisers and fixers on these space projects.🐎🐷🚀
However due to ongoing travel restrictions H & H have been unable to launch their intergalactic Typhoon space craft which transports them from the village to any of the launch sites on the other side of the world in about 10 minutes.
In view of current travel restrictions Hoof & Horace have mothballed their Typhoon in the shed of our field, yet once a week they go and fire the engines up in order to keep the battery charged, kick the tyres and check the screen washer fluid (hope you all do the same with your vehicles at the moment)😷🚙
Under normal circumstances H & H would be hands on in the field and fix these issues with their socket sets, however like all of us they have had to adapt during these unprecedented times and are fully geared up to give advice or carry out repairs on a remote basis through their on line digital channel, www.bodgeittakethemoneyandrun.com 🔧🔨🔩⚙️
Horace figured out that the NASA engineers got the firing order incorrect, he has told them they must have used the Mk 1 Ford Escort firing order of 1,2,4,3. Instead of the more conventional Morris Marina firing order of 1,3,4,2.
Sure enough, the engineers swapped the plug leads around and 15 hours ago on live TV the four massive engines were fired up and successfully completed the eight minute test without a hitch. 🐷👍
Hoof & Horace have asked that their renumeration be paid direct into their thinking account at Sharp’s Brewery.

HDR black and white photography by Timothy Selvage. Abandoned farmyard and buildings. Apparently, RUREX is the official name / rural equivalent of URBEX (urban exploration), however, it doesn't have quite the same ring to the name.
I've been wanting to develope a new non-destructive workflow using smart objects, filters in combination with layer masks, however my poor laptop keeps dying on me. I think that the graphics card isn't up to the job which resulted in me processing some of my images in a more simple way (until I can either fix my graphics card, or upgrade my computer).

The facility is commonly referred to as the Polish Television Building - Łódź, Sienkiewicza Street.
Built in 1951-55 as the seat of the Import Center of the Textile Industry, it was originally called the Tower of the Textile Centrala. This facility was a return to the construction of tall buildings in this city after WWII.
The Łódź branch of TVP actually occupies only a 5-story, side building with a different address at Narutowicza 13.
The main building is currently occupied by departments or units of all Lodz offices: municipal, voivodeship, marshal and the seat of the Eastern Lodz County.

The wolf in the zoo is moving about in a narrow cage while doing a
rough breath all day long. He seems to have gotten irritated very much.
動物園の狼は、狭い檻の中を一日中ハッハッハッと荒い息をしながら動き回っている。じっとしていられないのだろう。険しい顔をしていて、とても苛立っているように見える。
狼は人間になつかない（人間が与える餌を食べない）ので飼うのは無理と何かで読んだ事があるが、動物園で飼われているし、木下大サーカスで猛獣使いのショーに出ているのを観た事がある。その猛獣使いは虎やライオン、豹など１０頭位の肉食獣に芸を仕込んでいた。猫科の大型の猛獣は猛獣使いの指示通りに動いているように見えたが、列の後ろの方の狼やハイエナ（ジャッカル？）の類いは何となくうろうろしてるだけのように見えた。
叔父さんから戦争中、ソ連に派兵されていた時、朝起きたら部隊の軍馬が狼に全滅させれていたという話を聞いた事がある。どの馬も喉の辺りを一噛みで絶命させれていたそうだ。
