The coastal road around Hawaii. This is on the windward side complete with telephone poles. Today clouds and rain but that was a daily thing for an hour when I was there. After that sunshine and clear skies. I picked up an all day bus pass and took it around the island. I stopped at most of the parks. Another angle of last week's Guard Tower pic. This one has the old power lines and the new ones next to each other . When the prison closed they put up new lines which are closer to the guard towers. They closed the prison because the land became too valuable and they want to develop it. When the lease ran out they didn't renew it. We drove north Saturday in search of Snowy Owls and spotted 10. Then we headed to the Soo to see the last freighters go through the locks till April.
Advice from an owl: stay focused, be whoo you are, trust in a wise friend, live off the land, glide through the dark times, be observant, because life’s a hoot!

A Starling perched high on a telegraph wire taken on my walk down to the beach at Fenit back in February whilst Martin was fishing from the pier. Within 20 minutes a hailstorm blew in across the sea & I got absolutely soaked HTT!
The sun was beginning to set and no cars parked in the street this time in downtown Micanopy, FL.

Still getting used to the fact that I've sold my hurricane damaged house in Highlands County (closing in a week) and this is from my last trip there.
I was saved and born again there eleven years ago this month. Thought it was my last home.
This is a country road on my way back to Orlando from my final trip. Felt blessed to see a few country scenes. Loved this view of multiple types of fences with a Florida citrus grove in the background.

OBTW ... I have been here in The City Beautiful for four years already. This IS home for my kitties and me in our little pink 1925 bungalow!

A Wood Stork flying across the lake out back to join the large gathering of water birds. We had an early cold snap and it stunned the fish which caused a large flock of birds surrounding the lake for several days. It was also a pretty sunrise that morning.
