This was Liz's first time driving on the highway at 70 mph in fairly heavy traffic on I-5 between Portland and Seattle. Usually she drives her dad on the freeway in light traffic. It's my first time with her on the highway/freeway. She's driving well.........but my palms are sweating like crazy, and I really needed to be breathing in a bag!! I quickly rubbed my worry beads into dust! Had to take a few pics to relax myself---LOL, which didn't work.

After an hour I needed to relax, so I took over the driving for the 5 hour drive, including busy Seattle.

This kid drove up with his muffler blaring, smoke trailing and rust eating every fender! The car, a 1967 or 68 Chevy Impala - you can see the logo on the steering wheel. The kid was happy to have a car and smiled the whole time he was sitting here. He said it was going to be his project for the next 6 months - restoring it! I can't wait to see it when itis done. As of now, this is the coolest part of the car!
