On Saturday, April 18, 2009 the Johnson County Library held its second annual Teen Fashion Show. It featured music, teen-created fashions, teen models and slam poetry from teens and National Slam Poet Champion, Gino Morrow.
Teen Magazine published by Drippy Bone Books. Featuring art by Claudio Parentela, Cody Brant, Bramok, Mario Zoots, and Kristy Foom. Edition of 12. 28 pages. Printed on gray acid free paper. Glossy teal cover.

For those who don't know how I did it:
Back in these days before high quality digital cameras I would develop film myself after regular class hours in photography / graphic arts room at school. I would only take a couple of pictures at the end of a roll of film so I could quickly cut those off and if anyone wanted to see the negatives of what I was shooting it would look like I just didn't shoot the whole roll ;-)

I have always wanted to grace a cover of any magazine. Maybe one day that dream will come true. I've kind of always wanted to follow in the footsteps of Miley's success. It is very inspiring. I am probably a bigger Miley fan than Jonas. Hmmm... Today, I also found out that the simplest things are quite amusing. Ants, for instance. When I'm sitting down with my best friend to talk, I notice the little creatures on the ground just scurrying along.
P.S. My old Flickr name was luvjb_ordiee. But, I started hating it. So, my Flickaaa name is now my name!(:

I try to pick my titles from lyrics out of songs that I liked or had stuck in my head at the time of the photo. So that's what that is.
I spent more time on this picture than I have with any other picture I've made before. I spent three hours on it Tuesday night. After all my work got deleted, I spent a few more hours this morning trying to recreate it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)

One of the most creative sessions ever for me with this lovely teen! She almost refused "conventional" posing, and designed her expressions within a world all of her own making. Commercials ahead for her? Television? Just a joy to her friends, no doubt!
Found snapshot of a couple of leggy teenage girls, possibly cousins at a family picnic, posing atop the hood of the family car. Cutoff shorts and halter tops were IN.

Max Verstappen holding his own amongst older and more seasoned F1 drivers. Not only is his tender age of 18 years turning heads, but also his (lateral) move from Toro Rosso to Red Bull Racing which net him a 1st place podium finish at this year's Spanish GP. Over the weekend at the Canadian GP in Montreal he managed a 4th place finish, holding off current points leader Nico Rosberg from team Mercedes. Still can't believe he's driving this well.

You guys all know by now that I'm just not a Titans fan. I dunno why, but none of them interest me in the slightest outside of Nightwing and Ravager (And Mary Marvel but I'm not actually certain she was ever a Titan). Regardless, my Lego DCU was just a little smaller without em, so I figured I may as well do some updating and round out the cast. Also I just realized I forgot Artemis. Ah well.

Mary Marvel: Gave her Supergirl's legs and swapped out her arms for red.
Wonder Girl: generic head, WW torso/arms, CMF Arctic photographer legs.
Superboy: Swapped out his torso/legs for MM Superman's and Galaxy Patrol.
Raven: Picked up the TTGO Dimension pack specifically for this torso.legs. Swapped her head out with CMF Spooky Girl's.
Supergirl: I changed her head long, long ago. Her legs are now WW's from the Ares set.
Front row:
Speedy: Does it bug anyone else that Green Arrow's sidekick is called Speedy, and Flash's isn't? My standard fig but with Hyperion's arms.
Kid Flash: Booster Gold has the head I wanted to use. Catman torso (a la Jonathan) Iron Man legs.
Robin: old news by now.
Aqualad: Went with Garth this time cause he's part of the classic Titans line-up. POTC head, Nexo Knights torso, WW hips, LBM Robin legs.
Beast boy: Just a combo of the standard and TTGO figs.
Nightwing is an old standard
Cyborg: Swapped out his arms for a robot one and that weird Clone Jedi guy's.
Starfire: Gave her the TTGO Starfire's hair.
Ravager: Also an old standby.
Jericho: I know absolutely nothing about this kid pre-Rebirth, other than he's got a mad set of mutton-chops. Bilbo head, Dumbledore torso/legs.
