Sunrise on May 21, dedicated to my brother-in-law Ted (Peggy's husband) who is celebrating his birthday today. You are wished good health happiness and wealth!

or Teddy for short

We have had Teddy for almost a month. I forgot how much work a puppy is and how hard they are to photograph but he is worth it.

Peanut reminds him all the time she is the queen of the house. Moose reminds him that he is the prince.

Now who comes back with dishwashed hands?

Ted lives at "Revamp Reuse Upcycle" shop at Mogo on the NSW South Coast. Great shop to explore as with all Mogo. Unfortunately Mogo was quite badly affected by the fires but according to their FB posts this shop still seems to be going OK.

Amazingly, all the animals at Mogo zoo were protected from the fires by the workers.....still haven't been to the zoo yet, though. Hopefully soon if Victoria's unfortunate new Covid outbreak doesn't reach NSW.

I was testing a 1928 36cm lens when my friend Ted showed up.

This is one of the new Foxes at the BWC .

Thought I would put up 2 fox pictures to compare Basil and Ted just face view at the moment but I will do body shots as well.

Ted Benson and Tim Franz watch an eastbound BNSF Railway freight at Westmont. May 18, 2025.

Bit of green fringing across his head but he looks cute anyway!

One of life characters is Ted here in his Ford Cobra .. a great boys toy and a lot of fun . Its just a matter of keeping the speed down and evading the law but in that colour its difficult to go unnoticed .

Sunday morning after the Saturday night fireworks event at English Bay caused the east end of False Creek to fill with overnighters in their yachts, and dinghies.

Gallopers

The three-abreast Gallopers are Bressingham's centre piece. It is one of the finest to be seen anywhere. Built by Savages of Kings Lynn in 1897 and owned and operated by the Thurston family of Norfolk until 1934, the Gallopers later operated at Whitley Bay and ended up in Scotland before finding a home at Bressingham. The engine was originally built by Tidmans of Norwich but has been completely rebuilt at Bressingham. The organ - a Bruder-built, 48 keyless Chiappa - accompanies the Gallopers as they reach up to six revolutions per minute and swing out some 15 degrees.

The set came to Bressingham in 1967 and has been delighting young and old as the heart of the site ever since.

During the main season, The Gallopers operate every day, always bringing a smile to the faces of the young - and the young at heart!

Ted Benson, legendary photojournalist and one of my railroad photography heroes, changes film at Downers Grove in preparation of the next westbound.

Tonight I went to see my old mate Paul Rose www.paulrose.co.uk/ at Trillians in town. He had Ted on drums, who I first saw with Rory Gallagher about a million years ago when I was a teenager. Great player and a really good gig - if you like rocky blues do yourself a favour and catch them in the new year.

From Wikipedia:

"Ted McKenna (born 10 March 1950, Glasgow, Scotland), is a Scottish drummer who has played with Rory Gallagher, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (SAHB) and The Michael Schenker Group and toured with Ian Gillan for a short period alongside fellow SAHB bassist, Chris Glen. He is also a music performance tutor at North Glasgow College."

A picture of the late Senator Edward Kennedy in the World Finantial Centre atrium, New York City. Always liked this man. Brother of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, Edward Moore "Ted" Kennedy was an American politician who served as a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts for almost 47 years, from 1962 until his death in 2009

On this day, 36 years ago, Ted DeGrazia passed away at the age of 73. All of us thank you for creating the DeGrazia Foundation, this endowment allows us to continue operation of DeGrazia’s beloved gallery and provide a museum setting for the permanent exhibition of his artwork and collections for generations to come!

Ted saw me working on a little video and wanted to know what it was about and I told him it was about a little bear who missed her family and he wanted to see so I showed him the ending.. Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!!!

James Nachtwey, TED prize recipient

Recently Ted arrived in our home. I was surprised (aside from the fact that he speaks) that he claims to come from Boston and to have a university degrees from MIT, Cambridge, Boston Univerity et. al.

I assume he just wanted to show off a little (the package he arrived in actually came from China) but anyways...

He diagnosed our son Prozac05 sick (probably influenza) and described extreme slacking to get better fast.

One of my favorite quotes from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
