An European serin (serinus serinus) in the middle of the city. They are endless talkers...
After 4 years, I could take pictures of birds again!
Ordinarily I go to the woods alone, with not a single friend, for they are all smilers and talkers and therefore unsuitable.
I don't realy want to be witnessed talkeing to the catbirds or
hugging the old black oak tree. I have my way of praying, as
you no doubt have yours.
Besides, when I am alone I can become invisible. I can sit
on top of a dune as motionless as an uprise of weeds,
until the foxes run by unconcerned. I can hear the almost
unhearable sound of the roses singing.

our handsome Leo crossed the bridge... we rescued him and his brother Bob as kittens outside in 2005... he passed of mouth cancer in 2017...
He was so opposite his brother with the biggest personality and he was such a talker and would eat anything you gave him...

Whenever I take Tom for a walk he constantly talks to me. I haven't worked out if it's because he scared, or he just wants me to know where he is at all times.Or maybe he is just telling me all the things he is seeing and how much fun he is having.
my beautiful and funny Leo crossed the Rainbow Bridge and much too soon... with mouth cancer.
He was Bob's litter brother and such totally different personalities... Leo was a talker and such a funny boy that would eat anything like a dog and would let me do anything to him... even wearing costumes!!
He is greatly missed...

A foreman oversees the many workers at the roundhouse—machinists, boilermakers, helpers, and wipers. He receives reports from the locomotive engineers and inspectors on the condition of the engines and decides what work shall be done on them. At each engine terminal there is at least one hostler responsible for moving and positioning the locomotives for service. The hostlers, rail yard engineers, move locomotives between tracks to keep the trains organized and on schedule. They drive locomotives to and from maintenance shops or prepare them for the locomotive engineers.

The grey parrot (Psittacus erithacus), also known as the Congo grey parrot, African grey parrot or Congo African grey parrot, is an African parrot in the family Psittacidae. The Timneh parrot (Psittacus timneh) was previously treated as a subspecies of the grey parrot, but has since been elevated to a full species. The grey parrot is medium-sized, predominantly grey and black-billed. Its typical weight is 400 g (14 oz), with an approximate length of 33 cm (13 in), and a wingspan of 46–52 cm (18–20+1⁄2 in). The head and wings are generally darker than the body. The head and body feathers have slight white edges; the tail feathers are red.
Both sexes appear similar. Juvenile colouration is similar to that of adults, but typically their eyes are dark grey to black, compared to the adults' yellow irises around dark pupils, and their undertail coverts are tinged with grey. Adults weigh 418–526 g (14+3⁄4–18+1⁄2 oz).
Grey parrots may live for 40–60 years in captivity, although their mean lifespan in the wild appears to be shorter — approximately 23 years. They start breeding at an age of 3–5 years and lay 3–5 eggs per brood.
