A quick video describing the functions of the model. Thanks to my 10 year old daughter Enya for the camera work. 😊
After shooting the editorial we moved our lights a little and took some pictures to test. In post I also tried a few different things and this is what I came up with :)
Still wild for Cake Mag! We shot this editorial with both our film and digital cameras.

Naoko Takeuchi, creator of Sailor Moon, is pretty much the only famous person from Kofu. I tried giving her hometown the teal tones that were used so much in the anime!

Stairway lined with red lanterns and cherry blossoms at Takeuchi Shrine in Seika-chō, Sōraku County, Kyoto Prefecture.
The rod with the red top is used to lift the controller and arm rest out of the way to make it easier to get in and out of the cab.

A couple of, I guess, rather rare books. They are indeed very lovely. Naoko Takeuchi's drawings are lovingly reproduced here in some cases in fold-out pages.
In this shot the dust cover was removed to show the adorable line image of the very pink front cover of the Materials Collect Art Book. The dust cover was only removed. The dust cover is still there, still in nice shape, just removed for this picture so peeps can see the lovely illustration beneath that rarely is seen. :)
I also have the Books I & II (and the MC Book with Dust Cover) Art Books as well as a few from Card Captor Sakura (including a couple manga ones not yet up here), Magic Knight Rayearth, and a couple others I haven't delved into since I started unpacking the boxes from several years ago.

All these (and more) need new homes as I'm going to a different country for an extended stay soon so send me a Flickr Mail message (access through the arrow that appears near my profile photo when mousing over it, or click on the little tan envelope that appears on my profile page) if interested.
Making wooden tracks for this model would be difficult, luckily the real machine is fitted with rubber tracks.
