I normally set the focal length to 40mm when photographing these kinds of sunsets but I was curious about what I could achieve with the focal length set to 17mm

 

I am quite pleased with the effect.

I miss my Nikon ... I don't think I can pull this off with a DSLR without a Tripod (on the other hand, the image would be crisper, the tail lights of the cars more natural etc)

 

London is too cold for me these days so I will have to post stuff from the archives till I can brave the chilly weather.

Playing with fireworks middle of nothing at New Year 2010

 

In Finland it's generally allowed to have fireworks only at few hour near the New Year. Other times one needs a permission from officials. And during summer and midnight sun there's not really that much point in trying to play with fireworks...
