Nachdem am ersten Tag der Emons Containerzug nicht mit Sonne in Rodleben geklappt hat, versuchten wir es am zweiten Morgen in Gommern. Diesmal waren keine Wolken am Himmel und 185 513 eilte mit einem schönen vollem Containerzug durch Gommern Richtung Dessau. Leider war die Umsetzung mit einer Fabrik, die links neben der Strecke steht, aufgrund von starkem Bewuchs nicht mehr möglich, daher musste die markante Brücke im Hintergrund als Motiv dienen, 22.8.19

SSRs CLF1 and RL302 made there way to Yass from Cootamundra to go help the SSR Maldon rake which had a derailment but then with a change of plans they helped SSR Fletchers to Goulburn instead making the consist CLF1 RL302 FIE002 , FIE003 , FIE001
iTail has tagged me. Normally I would do nothing, but because he is so persistent and is such a good Amigo I will this time - once and once only! And I won’t inflict any of my great group of flickr contacts with invitations to do the same, otherwise I may be alone on Flickr.
Accordingly, I am supposed to list 10 things about myself, which hopefully you will find of interest. Here they are, in no particular order or importance, with an 11th for good measure.
1) I have lived in Montreal Canada, Cornwall-on-Hudson NY, London England and Toronto Canada.
2) Graduated New York Military Academy one year behind Donald Trump. We both marched together in a New York City Columbus Day parade, many years ago. Otherwise I don't know him from a hole in the ground.
3) Have a Ph.D. degree in microbiology from McGill University. Did a postdoctoral fellowship in England, taught university for 4 years and then spent most of my career in the food and pulp & paper industries in environmental management and wastewater treatment operations. I still work full time and do some wastewater consulting on the side as a troubleshooter.
4) I am married with a lovely wife, 2 daughters, a son-in-law and a one really cool 14 month old grandson. Daughter 2 is getting married in a few weeks.
5) I have enjoyed training my a super smart dog (Border Collie cross). He knows over 100 words, responds to numerous hand signals, is a wiz at agility and Frisbee and is trained for movies.

7) Favorite place to visit: Ireland (3 visits in the past 6 years.) Love the scenery, the people, the pubs, the Guinness, the photography and the traditional music.
8) I have visited much of North America and Europe, and have been to Japan, New Zealand and parts of the Caribbean.
9) My first car was a Triumph Spitfire Mark II.
10) I shook George Bush Srs. hand when he was VP running for President
11) and lastly, I won’t be responding to any more requests to be tagged :-)
