I was perusing Reddit forums, as I sometimes do, and I ran across an entertaining comment about wristwatches. The comment, which had been downvoted several times, suggested that most guys who wear "man jewelry" style watches are engaging in "adult cosplay." As an example, very few dive watches are ever worn while diving. Most pilot watches are not worn by pilots. Few of those who sport tactical watches on the weekend are Special Forces commandos, private military contractors, or mercenaries. The much-disliked Reddit comment equated the wearing of specialized tool watches to playing dress-up.

.

I laughed. I thought it was pretty funny and accurate in a broad sense. I would have upvoted the observation myself, but I do not have an account on Reddit.

.

As an aside, I ended up looking at Reddit while researching Instagram alternatives. I'm looking for an interactive site that primarily shows me the content I follow or search for rather than algorithmically curated, targeted, and promoted posts. Flickr is pretty good about that, at least when viewed on a browser. The Flickr app mega-suxx0rz!

'Kay, I gotta get back to vacuuming the rug while wearing my carbon fiber reinforced mil-spec Zulu time tactical timepiece.

New small EDC when the Roadhouse is too much knife.

Yes, it's OK to be jealous. :P

Kinda surprised it's a soft, rubber case. I expected it to be made of the same polymer as the PMag and be a snap together case.
