I found a nice stack of these the other day at the thrift. Oddly, they have two different marks, but are made by the same company.

My Goodwill haul yesterday. Each item was .49 cents!

w found this boxful of dishes at a thrift store when he first moved out years ago. i fell in love with them and we've been using them as our daily dishes since. that was 10 years ago. i always wondered why they didn't have a mark on the bottom - figured they were knock-offs. well today i felt i needed to look again. i found on the bottom of one of the small bowls a gold stamp, and on another one, just a tiny hint of what's left of a stamp... sure enough, they're pyrex. we've been banging these things around like they were ikea or something. dishwasher, microwave, etc. now i am happy to know what they are and that they are real pyrex, but so sad to think of what we've done to them!

i guess now i need to go buy a set of ikea dishes so we leave these babies alone... their finish is starting to wear. :(((((

Save your aspirations to learn the recipes and cool chef tricks for later, roll up your sleeves and get down to the washing! Read more on my apprenticeship at a restaurant kitchen in my blog post
