Paulie made my night by playing 99 Luftballoons in his 80's prom dress. Then he went all Coyote Ugly on the bar.
I was in awe. Tableau-vivants were a pastime in the 19th century I think, I hadn't seen one in my life. But here there was one. Three scenes, depicting boredom at the court, performed by a group of marvelously clad volunteers, arranged to full effect by a skillful director. Guys, if you ever do this again I totally want to be there. It was fantastic!

Director Aleks Munoz stops the actors and points out that this is the tableau that the whole scene builds up to. The scene was about two brothers who hear gunfire and choose to either protect each other or hide. I too found this gesture very moving. And when asked to explain his motivations this 19 year old actor said that because he was the misbegotten bad ass brother he was willing to be the sacrificial lamb so that the good brother who had his whole life ahead of him would survive.
