Two buttes lie just south of the Killpecker Sand Dunes: this image begins on the slope of the dunes & includes both the north and south Tabletop Buttes in the frame. BLM Rd. 17 provides easy access from Rock Springs, WY.

When I saw this potential composition of intersecting diagonal planes, and how layered the full-scope of this landscape, I stopped climbing to arrange the layers using the zoom.

Addendum: I once taught Photoshop & Digital Photography as Adjunct Faculty at a technical college near Tacoma, WA. I would have liked this shot (then) to illustrate layering principles, and the elements of design.

Backup bodies had been woken up. Apparently our ship's computer was worried where our originals had got to, having zipped off in a shuttle to explore a stranded ship. Our ship had also apparently deliberately opened one of the doors of the space station to "Clean" as everything was "Dirty".

Saint Joseph's Woodcraft

This tabletop sized quilt was made entirely by hand from star blocks left over from a larger quilt I'm working on. The larger one has been hand pieced and is being hand quilted now, but has white hexagons instead of black. It looks very different.

Starting to get the table ready for dinner. The way I'd placed the glasses reminded me of Brenda's image. This is a table with things on top of it but possibly (probably?) not what the genre is meant to be about.

Turns our the audio file contained a virus that would have made our nano-fabricators start churning out very nasty little nano-machines. Fortunately our AI, Hans, was smart enough to Madagascar the situation. i.e. SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN.

Command staff members were participants in a tabletop spill response exercise involving Phillips 66 facilities and staff, WA Dept of Ecology and SVFD personnel.
