Jon and his crew decided to dig a massive 50m high sign into Noordhoek beach for the church's TWD (That Was Different) fundraising campaign.
After taking the "view" shots, I went down to take some action shots, which were all of course staged since the sign was of course finished. After doing a few hours of digging, the guys were game!

First commission work for Blocks magazine which was one of the projects that I've been working on before summer started. Honored to be selected as one of six AFOLs to build a vignette of our choice based on the black and white comic artwork by Charlie Adlard. Custom minifigs created by our friends at EclipseGRAFX Customs!
The Longbow, developed by the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, is an unmanned, high speed tactical kinetic-energy weapon delivery system. The system punches trough the defense perimeter (usually consisting of automated defense satellites and/or space based rapid response fighters) by launching all 16 self-guiding missiles. Once in range, it delivers up to four tungsten spikes from its electromagnetic launch tubes to the target.
The Longbow is highly maneuverable and able to evade most last resort point defense systems. It's designed to return to it's base satellite for rearming and refueling.
NotesFor the Real World Starfighter Contest. Obviously no official entry, but I had to build something...
The competition will require applicants to either create a minifigure version of themselves in TWD zombie apocalypse universe or a made up person/character.
Your entry will need to be accompanied by a brief bio including age, gender ,home country/state if you are from the USA,weapons,supplies including amount of food rashions and what sort, a pet or pets like a cat or dog if you want to,past occupation/job before the apocalypse,general equipment like a torch,flare gun, matches/lightee,rope harness,walkie talkie,rucksack,water bottle and first aid kit and a brief backstory which is VERY VERY important as TWD is mostly character driven.

You don't have to any knowledge on TWD as it's only really just a zombie/apocalypse character setting. I used TWD as a theme for this contest cos I thought it was still a popular show XD and to fit eith the exit of TWD's main character Rick Grimes(Andrew Lincoln).
This contests basically more about your character and who they were and how they came to be who they are now in this treacherous zombie/apocalypse environment.
If you wanted to know the basic essentials about TWD anyway for the contest here it is:
Basically in this Zombie world everyone's infected therefore you turn in to a zombie when you die regardless, unless your brain is destroyed but if you are bit by a zombie called Walkers or sometimes roamers in the show stupidly and never zombies then you die and turn quicker in a day or matter of hours.
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR EXACT REAL LIFE LOCATIONS SUCH AS THE SPECIFICS OF YOUR HOMETOWN LIKE YOUR COUNTRY,COUNTY OR STATE,CITY,VILLAGE OR TOWN ROAD OR ADDRESS as Im sure you are probably aware. ALSO PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR REAL LIFE AGE AND FULL NAME UNLESS YOU WANT TO. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT AS THIS CONTEST AND THE GROUP WILL PROBABLY BE PUBLIC AND THERE IS MANY DISGUSTING SHADY PEOPLE OUT THERE ONLINE AND EVENON FLICKR FOR THAT MATTER(BUT NOT A LARGE PORTION THANKFULLY ON FLICKR I HOPE).

So after seeing Aaron's newest posts, Austin wanted to start building some TWD figs. But he doesn't want to paint anything. He wants to go as purist as possible with the figs. Of course weapons and such will have to be purchased elsewhere. He has quite a few started. But these two were the only ones 'almost finished.'
He already swapped out Rick's pants to a dark brown pair. His Negan is pretty funny looking. He will snap an updated pic for this one and a Negan pic with his cheesy camera phone a lil later.
