-------------------------------------- Story --------------------------------------

When you've been around horses almost all of your life, you know which one you can do anything with, and not others. I know with my guts that with this mare, I can do anything, even just ride on her back backwards while she's out in her paddock, she's my Trustfall.

Sometimes photography requires a good deal of trust. The coordinator from the New York Botanical Garden stood in front of me and said “We have transportation, and you have access to all the wonders and beauty of the gardens at your disposal. Where would you like to go?”

“Well … I saw a really great patch of unmowed grass. Can we go there?”

Trust can pay off.

It was lovely on Saturday, with the sun out and warm enough that people were carrying their coats. What a change today, grey skies and pouring with rain. I am off tomorrow for a spa day which I booked prior to my accident. I normally do one at this time of year as it helps me chill during an extremely hectic time of year at work. However, due to my changed circumstances I had debated whether or not to go. Unfortunately, it was pre-paid and I was unable to cancel, so we will see what happens. I am hoping the pool is one I can walk into rather than having to climb down anyway worse case scenario is me just having to lounge around all day with a book - I can think of worse things - lol

A bond of trust exists between the Kazakh eagle trainers and their golden eagles, as can be seen in this black and white image from the Sunkar Raptor Falcon Sanctuary, Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I fear no evil, for You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

There are many beautiful flowers to be seen in the Walled Garden at Inverewe Gardens which is maintained by the National Trust for Scotland.

You know what I'm sipping, I'll teach you how to mix it

But you're the only one cause I don't trust these bitches

I don't trust these bitches, they might catch me slipping

So, you're the only one cause I don't trust these bitches

They might catch me slipping and put in something different

So you're the only one cause I don't trust these bitches

I don't trust these bitches, they might catch me slipping

So you're the only one

A single Daphne flower. I need to plant this shrub, I love its scent which is just what you need in this dull time of the year.

Trust to a point,

but they'd just as soon not look at each other.

I could understand the RS not looking at the butt ugly TV,

but can't understand why the TV wouldn't look at the handsome SR. Jealousy??

Note:

This is a 2 capture composite image,

with one capture was focused on the TV,

and the other focused on the RS.

I could have gotten both in good focus at ƒ/22,

but favored a larger aperture (ƒ/4.5) to get better subject isolation from the background.

Autumn colours at Stourhead

Canon 70D

Stourhead garden changes with the light levels and position of the sun. The Pantheon may catch your eye one minute; then as the sun emerges from behind a cloud, the tulip tree on the island is bathed in light, followed by the Temple of Apollo.

The view from the Pantheon looks back toward the Temple of Flora, the Palladian bridge and the ancient parish church of St Peter’s, set remarkably against a panoramic bank of exotic trees.

The cavalcade of breathtaking vistas from around the garden surprise, inspire and enamour you, in a way that would make Henry Hoare II a proud man. For his garden has matured, and grown into the living work of art he sought to create nearly three centuries ago.

Tried not to attract their attention and was half way round the field when they spotted me. Curiosity got the better of them. It can be quite intimidating when thirty odd bullocks start running towards you. I knelt down and pointed the camera at them (took this shot). That slowed them up while they worked out what I was doing. They did actually stop for about a minute. However they were soon on me. The bravest of them tends to come up from behind, but the slightest movement and they back off immediately. They eventually got bored, and after a few minutes harmlessly wandered off!

I know next to nothing about cattle breeds. The white ones could be British White or White Park with a few cross breeds in the middle. Friesian related maybe?.

My thanks to anyone who views, faves or comments on any of my photos. It is much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who organized and participated in an amazing Spring 2016 Polaroid Week. This community inspires me, and seeing so much great work makes me want to shoot even more.

I love you, baby,

And if it's quite alright,

I need you, baby,

To warm a lonely night.

I love you, baby.

Trust in me when I say:

Oh, pretty baby,

Don't bring me down, I pray.

Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay

And let me love you, baby.

Let me love you.
