This is a tiny wild flower, blossom in May. Growing in marsh field, so wet over all after shooting it. It´s rare here, I know only two locals. The flower is about 5-7 centimeter high from the ground.

Location: Seven Weeks Poort in the Little Karoo
Description: Here is another (half-decent) composition from my recent visit to the spectacular Seven Weeks Poort (I just wish I'd pressed the shutter one second earlier).
The magnificent vertical rockfolds, reaching for the skies on both sides of the road, reflect the inconceivable forces of the volcanic eruptions millions of years ago, forming the chain of Cape ripple-like mountains. Often the converging slopes leave only a narrow pass, just broad enough for the Huis River to pass through, whilst the precipices of naked, distorted rock-faces tower like walls of a natural rampart, obscuring the sun.
I honestly couldn’t think of any better place to pedal my bicycle… can you?

Eucharis grandiflora, a flowering plant in the family Amaryllidaceae, native to western Colombia and western Ecuador and widely cultivated as an ornamental in other regions. It is a natural hybrid between Eucharis moorei and Eucharis sanderi. In horticulture it is often confused with Eucharis amazonica, usually differing in its slightly smaller flowers. The English name Amazon lily is used for both species, but is also used for the genus Eucharis as a whole (and for other genera). Despite the common name, it is not closely related to the true lilies.

These bangles were bought for me by my husband. The silver bangle is about 45 yrs old which he bought soon after we met, he was worried that it was only silver as he couldn't afford a gold one at the time, I adored it. The gold one was bought some years after we were married for a Valentines gift to make up for the silver one he had originally bought. I haven't worn either of them for some time but taking the photographs of them has made me realise how precious they are and once this lockdown is over I plan to wear them all over again.

I haven't uploaded in a very long time. I have lost my life companion, my beloved Joachim, and I have a difficult time dealing with his loss. From time to time, I visit your photos, but I don't have the strength to write comments. I hope you can understand.
My cat, the Lady Brüni, is of great help to me. I cannot imagine how I could handle my life without her after having lost my very best friend.
