switched to my camera set up with back button spot focus-so took lots of duds -this is a better result -with 20mm kenko extension tube on 50mm; added a texture at low opac to mute the colours a bit!

"On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman, France’s foreign minister, called on France, Germany and other European countries to pool their production of coal and steel. - This was the first move towards the creation of what is now known as the European Union – 27 countries united in their respect for freedom and the rule of law while recognising and valuing the diversity of EU citizens. The anniversary of Schuman’s declaration is celebrated as Europe Day. On Saturday 12 May, the EU’s various institutions will mark the anniversary by opening their doors to the public. Events are being held around Europe. Find out more..." ec.europa.eu/news/eu_explained/120504_en.htm
- I was sitting in a park and placed the cam next to me on the bench. I pressed the shutter several times. This is one of the outcomes - cropping done, nothing else. This assignment sure revealed a pow I haven't used before. Thanks again for a very useful @todaysposting experience! My first posting to the TP group.
As photographers we are told to compose a shot so it doesn't look as if something is growing out of someone's head.
So I thought, why not make a picture with a tree growing out the top of my head, and to do this all I had to do was find a tree, hold my camera up, point it over the back of my head and snap, job done. But it wasn't that easy. This was my final shot of many, by which time my camera and I were wet through.
PS the grass really is that green, coz it hasn't stopped raining for days.
